Now that you say it, it could look like the picture was taken on Jungle Rock Island which is supposed to be Japan afaik. So it being JDM could be likely.

edit: as someone pointed out, it's certainly utah. I'm noob.

 

it's supposed to be Japanese? i always thought it was Hawaiian, like the plates say. then again, they're both Pacific Island places and very similar, i guess.

Come to think of it, I haven't heard how that contest ended. I thought the winning picture was supposed to be used as a teaser, but that hasn't happened (at least, not yet).

they added a group 5 race car, a group B car, and a 90s touring car in 0.24, and we know for certain they're adding another group B car in 0.25 (there's likely to also be something with the new civetta).
I think they're already getting on top of that.

 

Yes.But I hope there will be more "modern" racing cars.
(In fact,I like track racing more than rally,though Group B cars also fascinate me)

 

Almost 100% sure this is taken on Utah, not JRI.
But man, this new Covet looks so so sick! I'm genuinely excited for it, it looks like something purpose-built to tackle some mountain road time-trials in speeds that would probably stay competitive with the SBR and Sunburst Hillclimb monsters. Whether it ends up as a tarmac rally or a hillclimb config, I know where I'm taking it for a spin. Is the Pikes Peak map mod still around?...

 

Ah yes, it is certainly Utah. When looking at the picture on my phone, I didn't notice the utah style rocks

I wonder if it has some sort of inspiration to the Clio V6

This one has a V6 though, i wonder if the Covet will have it as well

 

It is Utah, it's just a bit forwards from the gas station spawn point. The rocks and trees are the same, and you can see a purple reflection on the Covet's bumper which is a prop on the car dealership.
