They are as detailed as can be (at least by me), by using actual 3d bits or textures, so is the car itself, tried to compensate certain issues like the main mesh being too high with that - customisability and looks. Thank you!
this mod is amazing. is there any difference between all the drive modes? i can’t really tell any difference
its mostly how tractions control works I believe. sport will have less responsive TC where as off-road will be more responsive for example. thats from my experience --- Post updated --- found 2 issues with the 5095 rims the 5095 silver + satin grey rims are too small for the tires and both 5095s are labelled incorrect which is very minor but id though id let you know
The perfection of this mod is amazing,I have been following it for a long time, now that you officially released it,what will come new after the land rover 2020? a land rover of the old 1983-2016 models? or some other off road vehicle?
I agree, exemplary job (though I do wish a working fuel and temp gauge will come - not enough to detract me from enjoying what a stellar mod this is though)
Thank you everyone! Thank you! Already published a hotfix with everything sorted A new project is already on its baby steps, it's another Forza meshslap and it's also an off-road vehicle, but not Land Rover related this time. Nothing that can be done about that I'm afraid at least with digital gauges. Using analog could solve certain issues, but would look a bit weird too...
I apologize for the late response. I have had better performance with the figures here. And here is a shot of the amount of squat under full acceleration from a dead stop. Also, I found that changing the Deform value on line 168 on the front suspension Jbeam from 25000 to 45000 eliminated the front suspension beams (fx1l and r to fx5l and r) spawning with deforms
Great! I think the squat might be a bit too much but feel free to send your changes to JorgePinto. You do not have to come to me to approve the changes, thank you!
Hey guys. I was having issues with Beam so I cleared my cache without moving my mods, and all of my mods got deleted. Since then I've been having issues with the Defender. In true Land Rover fashion, every dash light is on, the DRL's don't work, I'm missing textures on my wheels, and all inputs to my controller or keyboard (for the vehicle) do not work at all. As dumpling knows, I had a few previous versions with the suspension jbeam tweaked. So, I deleted all of those previous versions and re-downloaded to start fresh. Transferred the common folder into the LR folder, all that fun stuff. But, to no avail. I still can't get the thing to move or for the bugs to be fixed. I know this may be a problem with my cache and game rather than the LR, but, in the instance it is the LR I figured I'd reach out for help. Thanks.
Okay That's weird I'd advise to maybe last thing left, perform an clear reinstall of the Game if you tried everything else? Also, for your Mods to not get lost, I'd advise you to make yourself an Backup Folder, maybe even on an separate Disk.
The only change I made was that one value, but I can send you the edited Jbeam file if you would like
New update is in! Nothing major this time, but as always, meaningful enough in order to proceed. Added optional Land Rover Experience skin (idea by CarTMatt @ Discord) Improved off-road suspension values (thanks to @nachtstiel) Fixed some front suspension beams spawning with deforms (thanks to @nachtstiel) Updated V8 engine sound (thanks to CarTMatt @ Discord) Correct Axle Ratios for the diffs (thanks to CarTMatt @ Discord) Race DSE for the Bowler and No Time to Die Configs (thanks to CarTMatt @ Discord) As people suggested, a clean run of the game without any other mods enabled should make it work, something external to this car has to be affecting it for sure, and that would confirm it as a first step Thanks to you for it, somehow at one point I messed the door nodes and never noticed since them! No worries, I had a look at the values since I'm now sure those are the ones to change, and they are already on this update, thank you
The 90 version was in the works but things didn't go as planned. So after a while it was cancelled --- Post updated ---
