"Not around the corner" could mean quite a lot, and I think it was intentionally left vague so they could ship the update as soon as it's ready and not stick to a release date, but also to just make this thread chill the hell out, with people thinking the update was being released that day.
I sure hope so As There was lots of hype around the update being there and then. But when he said its not around the corner That made me think the worse. But when he said just yet. I mean that kinda made me think its soonish. I guess all we can do is wait for each Tuesday for a teaser,. When they show the new Super car And/or update the creator program. I think when they update the creator program THAT will be when it update will be around the corner
Kinda off topic but I thought it would be intresting, I'll be brief... So for people wondering this thing actually existed and was made by "Christian de Léotard" Spoiler: Photos of the R5s, made it spoiler so it won't take too much space as this is already off topic He made 2 normal Renault 5 with 6 wheels, a concept (with 6x2, 6x4 then 6x6, depending on the evolution) and a second in 6x6 which made the Paris Dakar in 1980, well it broke before Dakar but it went there... And then he made a 6x4 R5 Turbo, with 2 engines, 1 in the front other in the rear (I don't exactly know which axles were driven tho, I'd assume front and middle or far rear) The 2 engines, 1 N/A in front, 1 Turbo in the rear And the 2 gear levers And the sad end of this story is, the garage where the R5 was parked burned in 2002 for some weird reason. The R5 was still there in 2019, not sure if it still is now. And he made other intresting stuff too, mostly with 6 wheels, which I won't talk about here. You can find more infos and few videos tho most of it is in French
i'll be honest half the reason im very excited for the new update is that it should add whatever feature the new SSRB required to be released. no idea what it is but i really want the new version
So will the SSRB map be added as official content in the game? I mean, the Bruckell Bastion trailer already implied this!
Could very well not but it could also. I do hope it gets added, it's an original map with no real alternatives.
The new waypoints probably refers to just fine tuned lane management navigation, maybe even vehicle lane changes that take place smoother its not like there is anything else on SSRB that exists but highway lanes...
I do hope it gets added too. Last map I remember being somewhat like this was the Special Stage Route X in GT5/6/Sport/7 and the SSRB is about 6 times as long as that track! I still remember me violently completing (as in "crashing on the wall on the other end without any hint of deceleration") all 172kms of it with the ETK S-Series S12 LWB mod at a constant (well, almost constant) ~350 km/h at 9th gear, a couple of years ago!
Yeah, it's basically the v6 doubled, and he first flatplane v8 is the i4_2 doubled with a 90 degree v angle, but with a lrlrlrlr firing order LOL!
I could have phrased that better, I meant they seem to know the small quality of life features that normally wouldn’t be as noticed as the remasters and new cars, and they know how these will affect the game, like with knowing they need to get rid of 32 bit support and knowing they have to wait for the release of 0.25 to re-release SSRB. Both of those things would probably not be possible without features that are moreso “under the hood.”
https://www.beamng.com/threads/ssrb.22549/page-6#post-1263281 I don't know if it's my eyes or the Sunburst looks ever so slightly different besides pbr?
I suspect not - the main problem with SSRB was that the further the player went from start, the shakier the car became. I would assume that it'd stay out unless that bug was fixed.
