Sorry for taking so long to get back to you! The issue is that they sit dead flush with the door panels (trim beads notwithstanding) and the curvature of the door is too much to allow them to roll down at that angle anyway.

 

but the page isnt about paid mods is it, its about the picnic. im just sick of seeing posts of people complaining and hating rather than the mod itself. that's last im going to talk about that here.

it's not a revolutionary mod but it's pretty good, I'm not going to discuss the price because opinions differ on the subject.

little feedback:

* AI gendarmerie does not chase you in traffic mode

* when you remove the engine, it also removes the front wheels (it's not supposed to happen it seems to me)

What? Saxo and 106 are two distinct cars that share the same platform from the 90's and early 2000's and are not related to the C1 and Aygo. Both the Saxo and 106 have only two phases/facelifts.

The cherrier is clearly based on the 106 phase 1

Gauge in this mod is from Seat Ibiza / Cordoba ,
I have a great idea for you. Add more tachometers, make 1.1 standard with watch, 1.3 and 1.6 add those now GTI, add tachometer to 5k rpm for diesel, and GTI as GTI seats black with orange font or silver with black font. If you want, I can help you with texturing these counters and warning lights
It will look more real.

Somewhat based on a 106, but for some reason the rear does not fit a french hatchback at all. (Citroen AX, Peugeot 106, Renault Clio)
French hatchbacks from that era usually have quite small rear lights. The rear of this looks more Japanese if anything, like a Micra K10. (Or a EU hatch like a polo.)

For a paid mod, I would at least expect the design to be accurate to time and origin.
But that's just me

 

It's mix match but only the rear lights and hatch don't fit the 106 lines. Definitly a Polo/Seat inspired rear. But this is not a copy of the 106, it's inspired by it

 

That's true, I understand that it's not a 1-1 copy. However my point is just that, this is branded as a french hatchback and I frankly think it's weird to mix it together with something German. It does not make sense from a French design perspective

 

The mod isn't a German car, it is a French car, and it isn't meant to be any car in particular
