Then how do you explain the existence of the Luxe variant and the backlit blue gauge cluster with the more formal script this variant has? I mean, this variant was clearly inspired by the Chrysler 300, which is the base of the Charger. ;)
Exactly! We had the 300 here, disguised as the Lancia Thema! ;)

Yeah I just edited my post after remembering the 300 is sold in Europe. To be fair they don't have a diesel version over there anyways so...

Edit: There have been two different 3.0 V6 TurboDiesels offered, though they were not available during the all model years.

Na Mate, Chrysler 300 sold in Europe could be had in diesel (same as in Downunder). The diesel motor in Chrysler 300 is VM Motori A630 3.0 (2987cc) V6.

Actually, in Europe, the 300 was available with the 3.6 Pentastar V6 and a VM Motori 3.0 V6 Turbodiesel (the former with the ZF 8HP and the latter with an old-fashioned 5-Speed Auto) but it was for a very short time period, until Sergio Marchionne decided to pull the plug in ~2014.

While the diesel was offered in a 300, as I've just learned, it was a Mercedes diesel only offered for 6 model years.
Yeah the diesel was only offered from 2006-2011, as I learned. It was a Mercedes diesel so it makes sense, as Chrysler was owned by Daimler at the time.

Edit: There was also a VM Motori diesel offered in the second generation.

Na Mate, that diesel was not built by Mercedes-Benz, it was built by VM Motori as spoken about earlier. Mercedes-Benz also has its own 3.0 V6 diesel but it is not the same as VM Motori A630 3.0 V6 that is in Jeep Grand Cherokee (4G), Chrysler 300/Lancia Thema, RAM 1500 (2014 - 2019), Maserati Ghibli, Maserati Quattroporte, Maserati Levante.

Noticed two imperfections on the body of the Bastion (plus a thingy about the naming situation of the Bastion variants I just noticed after 4 months) plus a very discreet imperfection on the Moonhawk body (since the Moonhawk doesn't have its own page in the Forums, I'll write this here):

    1) When the Redtail Paint Design is used, the door handles get a slightly brighter colour than the rest of the body and this happens with all colours, either Factory or Custom-made ones - and only on the Redtail Paint Design.
    2) In the Sport Rear Bumper of the 5.7 Sport and in the Widebody Sport Rear Bumper of the 6.5 Sport GT, one of the fins of the fake rear diffuser (the center fin, to be more precise) looks like its unfinished, being in gloss black, while the rest of the fins and the whole diffuser, for that matter, have the normal matte grayish/blackish finish we've come to expect.

The thingy about the naming situation of the Bastion variants I just noticed after 4 months: the names on the vehicle models selector of the Bastion should be aligned with those written on the Trunk Lid. On the vehicle selector, they say ''SE 3.5'' (and ''SE 3.5 AWD''), ''Luxe 3.5 AWD'' (and ''Luxe 3.5'', for when someone doesn't want the AWD), ''Luxe 5.7'' (and ''Luxe 5.7 AWD''), ''Sport 5.7'' and ''Sport GT 6.5'', while on the trunk lid, the displacement is first in order, with the Trim word following it (and the exception being the ''6.5 GT'', which is correctly done this way on the Trunk Lid, for simplifying the differentiation between the 6.5 Sport GT and the 5.7 Sport).

The very discreet imperfection on the Moonhawk body is related to the Hood. When a Stage-1 or a Stage-2 Supercharger is fitted, the Hood (the normal Hood, not the Cut Hood, of course) gets a small chrome dot in the middle (between the two discreet hood bulges) and this happens because the air filter of these two Superchargers clips through the Hood. I forgot to take a picture of this, so I'll edit my post and upload the relative picture as soon as I start the game tomorrow!

edit: Here is the chrome dot of the air filter of the Stage-1 and Stage-2 Superchargers clipping through the Hood!

So it's possible to install a front differential below a Hemi V8?
That's a little bit counter-intrutive, since the high-end Bastion are all RWD

Only available with the V6, but it does. iirc in previous years it did have the V8 in AWD.

or rather, someone on the forums made a photoshop to see what a bastion wagon would look like, and they nicked the image for whatever reason.
