This fits the SBR4 platform perfectly. If it was up to me i'd use this within mere seconds of discovering it.
wooo new renders Besides the lighting and environment you might be asking "what's new?" ...But wait, there's more! I began to model the chassis and interior bits today—it's all a bit rudimentary but we're getting there! I'm primarily using the Porsche 993, Acura NSX, and other early 90s sports cars as a reference for how the chassis should be laid out, whilst the interior is designed to be a reverse-engineered version of the modern SBR.
Pm me if you need a beta tester, or help in general! this is a nice idea i want to be apart of if you need a photographer too, you can see my work in the community screenshots
im intrigued i really want this to be good, and if you are open to it i can do some concept sketches for a finalized design and give some suggestions in DMs you've caught my attention thoroughly and i wanna see it come to fruition
Adding to this, i would be very glad to give you some modeling help/advice, the project seems incredibly promising ^^
Wow this is incredible so far. Reminds of the NSX but more pratical. Keep up the good work. P.S any plans of a LHD version(sorry had to ask)
Not going to lie, it looks a bit TVR-ish to me... at least the rear end does, which is a good thing, because it looks great IMO. I'm very much looking forward to see it take shape, it looks very promising so far...
this ought to be a good mod should it come to fruition, the revisions that have already been made have brought it more into line with early 90s products, the rear quarter scoops seem a little out of place but not unreasonable
wooo new paint texture that won't make its way into the game anyways I'm continuing to refine the model further, with the addition of new parts such as headlight details and mirrors. Also we're red now! Additionally, there are some changes to the chassis (which I had to completely re-model from scratch due to issues with normals and generally poor meshflow—as a result of the new paint model I've chosen to use, I had to make the chassis a black plastic to better showcase how it really looks), along with a more detailed interior.
