I'll admit, I wasn't expecting this to be a polished release. It's a beta of an alpha for Christs sake. I was, however, expecting to be able to hit the "play" button without the game crashing to desktop.

Anybody have any ideas? It mentions not being able to load .PNG files (Presumably the background images). I've attached screenshots of the error popups, as well as the crash report zip folder.

    Cheers.

Maybe something corrupted your BeamNG Copy. I'd suggest to delete it (Delete Local Files via Steam) and redownload.

    EXPERIMENTAL.

Try clearing the cache folder in My Documents\BeamNG.drive\ and see if it still gives you the errors. Also try the "verify integrity of game cache" feature in Steam.

    I don't know what you're talking about... ;)

I was feeling bad because maybe I gave an impression of being an impatient **** or maybe I was too tough on Drowsy, but hey, it was totally worth it. Best devs ever btw.

Is it just a placebo or is this version on a much better version of Torque? The hazy visuals and kinda-blue lighting of the stable build seem to be replaced with a much sharper image and more natural lighting.

So will you tell us the differences in the experimental version? Couple of vehicles, props and couple of levels, what else?

I'm only getting about 20 FPS with a stock T75 and nothing else.. I got 70FPS with multiple vehicles after removing some parts from it though.

I'll be forgetting a lot of stuff here, but this is some of it:

Vastly improved collision code (much more stable, less clipping and getting stuck, able to actually carry things without them sliding around)
Fixed wheel shaking on most vehicles (especially Bolide 390 GTR)
    New vehicle selector (spacebar)
Lots of minor tweaks and fixes

Are you going to be adding more and more things to the Experimental version of this game over the next couple of days?

If I had a car I'd go home and download it during lunch. Couldn't play it but I'd at least have it.

i'm sure you guys already know this, but the apps don't seem to work on the t75 (rpm and speed and all that, it's like they get frozen onto the last spawned vehicle)

Alright, removing the rear rear axle causes visual glitches on the T75. Drives fine though.
