Sweet man! You should get a head strap mount, it's great!! Or use the curved mount that comes with the GoPro on your helmet.
Stupidly I don't wear a helmet unless I'm on downhill, but I do like the look of the head mount Its even weirder whe. You film yourself doing daily tasks like washing up lol freaks your mind to watch it back lol
Does anyone have any experience with the suction cup mount? I got one last year, and I couldn't get it to stick well. I read the instructions and looked around the internet. I see them used, and working really well, on roadkill and such all the time. I'm just wondering what other peoples' experience is with it. - - - Updated - - - I decided I'd give the suction cup another try, so I cleaned off a space on the hood of the f-150 to put it on. I have to stand up on the front tire to get to the middle of the hood because I'm so tiny and this truck is so huge. Anyway, I cleaned everything off, and looked at all the levers and shit to decipher what they do, and after 30 seconds or so I figure out how it worked and put it on there. The locking lever thing was pretty hard to press down, and its attached really well. Feels sturdy. Hmm. Guess I was just doing someone wrong. I wanna drive this down the road or something to test it out, but I'm sure my dad won't let me. I should put it on the roof, looking down on the hood and in front of the car. That'd look cool.
Do you guys really like your GoPro's? I really want one, but I've never been able to justify the cost.
I am pretty satisfied with mine. You can get a **white** edition, like I did, for 200 bucks, but mounts and stuff can end up costing you a bit. So yeah, I like mine.
Yeah, I'd really like to get one. I might just have to get the silver edition. I would probably also get a suction cup mount. My only problem is that I don't know what I'd film with it.
I don't have that problem, I do enough stupid stuff to provide with plenty of interesting stuff to film. I've also found that the headstrap mount useful, but it makes you look like an idiot, so I try not to do anything with it around many people. I need to pick up a case that isn't water proof for better sound and shit for when I'm not doing anything around water.
I stuck my gopro to the top of the highlander and drove it down the street the other day. I've been too lazy to upload it to youtube, and when I do, I'll put it here. Not very exciting but whatever.
You guys should get the black edition, it's the best! The silver and white is worse than the Iphone 6, but it's still good. But if you can afford it, buy the black. - - - Updated - - - there should be an extra back door that has two rectangle holes in it, put that one on the case.
Mine didn't come with an extra back doors. The other back doors I have are for the accessories and shit.
worse than iPhone 6 in terms of megapixels maybe, doesn't mean its worse overall. All phones have utter crap lenses leading to a lack of sharpness and poorly lit images compared to a standard camera of the same megapixel rating. Independently the HTC One was found to produce the highest quality images (when rated by colour reproduction, overall lighting and how well focused the image was) when put against Samsung's S4, the iPhone 5 and the lumia 920 (which isn't the 42mp one) yet in that test it actually had the lease megapixels. An iPhone 6 theoretically shoots in a higher resolution than the gopro. It doesn't have a decent lens even nearly comparable to a gopro and side by side the images from a mates gopro are clearly far superior to those of his 5S, much more defined and clear images, and the gopro isn't all that great when compared to a normal camera either.
Nope. Did it come with your gopro? - - - Updated - - - Uploaded one of the two videos on the highlander. Swerving, hard acceleration, and hard braking were all for the sake of scientific data collection. When I slammed on the brakes in the driveway the feed from the camera on my ipad froze, and at the end I was getting out to make sure it didn't fall off or some shit. There was another clip of me pulling into the garage but I'm too lazy to edit them together.
