Update Speculation thread

When did people start saying that the update is next week? if tdev said LAST WEEK "the update won't go out until mid next week" (correct me if i'm wrong), but that means THIS WEEK... Of course it can be false but I don't think so...

 

I don't think I ever truly appreciated what a quantum leap the last few updates have been in graphics quality - scrolling the dev media and microblogs from a while ago will make that clear. It looks like 0.25 will continue that trend - epic screenshots incoming

 

didn’t they also modify and teach an M2 to autonomously drift?

 

the most important update will be when we have Grid Small, Pure and the mattress with PBR.

 

Tdev said last week : it won't come out UNTIL mid next week
If you can't understand basic sentences that means it will not come out early this week, probably thursday / friday. Wednesday would be possible but I don't think so. And finally next week would be a solution.

For speculation I'm hoping for tyre thermals, refuelling and obviously openable windows/doors

Tyre thermals was already referenced by tdev to be coming in 0.26, not 0.25

 

Where in my last post did I say "early this week"? Seems that I'm not the one that can't understand basic sentences

I don't think he meant next week's Tuesday, I think he said that because people yesterday kept saying and asking if it will come out today, and Tuesday isn't by any means mid week. Anyways he has the last word about that.

 

I think tdev said that tire thermals are coming in 0.26 in his qna thing he did here. Didn't say anything about refueling and openable windows (cause of no one asking about it), but that could be a possibility. Personally, I would love if they added refueling. Would make running endurances on tracks more realistic

 

I hope we get a new map this year.

ok. So that rules out the northeast and southeast USA. A colorado map might be interesting

honestly that response struck me as sarcasm. Because it was the polar opposite of what Matt_890s was asking. And the fact that I remember someone on the BeamNG team saying that they were gonna work on making a Polish/German style map, and I'm pretty sure those countries aren't very sunny and dry lol. But maybe I interpreted his message wrong, and they're actually working on a sunny and dry location

Yeah I forgot that, I take that back. But yeah refuelling would be nice as, well, cars use fuel and I don't want to press "R" or "Insert" to refuel.

That would be very nice indeed, new landscape, big beaches, and RHD cars would actually have a use (I don't think there's an official map on which we drive on the right, correct me if I'm wrong)
