I, in turn, would like to see something like this. We don't have dumper trucks in Beamng for the default cars.
I almost forgot about this... But if you still have 'modern American muscle sedan', 'modern Italian supercar', or something similar on your list, now is the time to archive it and fill in the vacated spot with something new!
Mid 1970's gas crisis "muscle" car: Something like the mustang II, but with some gremlin and barstow influence as well. It's a niche that hasn't been filled yet in most games and it is hilariously fun to drive in the few games that do. Early 1970's Italian V8 MR Supercar Again, a niche most games miss. These cars always sound amazing and are really good looking. Civetta Serpente maybe? Bruckell 4 Door Fullsize Car Platform Could be used as a base for a big'ol 1970's dad wagon or a cool-ass el-camino ripoff. or just, a fullsize sedan from the 70's too.
I'd like to see more vehicles along the lines of the Gavril Bluebuck (that vintage, maybe a later version of it). I would also like to see a later version of the Burnside Special (Late fiftes, with tailfins). Also cars such as 1960 Cadillac, some big sedans from the seventies.
A bit of an unimaginative post, but I'd like to see the concept list seen on the first page come to fruition.
God we need something pre 50s. Literally no game these days has realistic cars from before the 1950s, and it would be a great opportunity for BeamNG to introduce them... It'll be fun to have the quirks such as crap brakes and overheating easily when pushed hard, as well as an insanely solid body for the worst safety ever.
Can you read the first post before posting? OT: 1. A 40s or 50s Spanish or Italian truck like the Pegaso II, Isotta Fraschini D65, Isotta Fraschini D80, Alfa Romeo 800, Alfa Romeo 430, and Alfa Romeo 450. It can be either conventional or COE. This should be added because there are only 2 50s cars and no 40s cars. There is also only one truck, which is American. Also, there are no Spanish cars and only 3 Italian cars. Lastly, there aren't many 40s and early 50s trucks in games. 2. A 2000s South Korean minivan like the Kia Carnival or Hyundai Trajet. This should be added because there are no 2000s cars. There are also no minivans, even though minivans are/were very popular. Lastly, there are no South Korean cars, even though the South Korean auto industry is one of the largest in the world. 3. A 2000s American crossover made by Bruckell like the Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Ford Taurus X. This should be added because there are no 2000s cars. There is also only one crossover, even though crossovers are very popular. Lastly, GM's full-size crossovers from the late 2000s are very ugly and I would enjoy destroying them in every possible way and I'm sure many other people would too. Spoiler: Archive 4. An 80s French or Italian van like the Fiat Ducato, Iveco Daily, Renault Trafic, and Renault Master. This should be added because there are only 2 French cars and 3 Italian cars. Also, a European van would fit in Italy much better than the American H-Series. Lastly, the van could have a minibus variant or an RV variant like the Winnebago LeSharo. The Stambecco is kind of close to this.
It's been a while for all of us, so I'll post the guidelines for using this thread again. (Remember - it's never to late to edit your post!) For the purposes of keeping some sort of order, I'd like to ask that: Forum members restrict themselves to a list of nine or fewer vehicles A brief, but at least two-sentence reasoning for the inclusion of each vehicle added to the list is provided. Lists are ordered from the vehicle you want most (first) to vehicle you want least (last) to further help gauge interest. Forum members refrain from posting more than one list (remember that you can go back and edit your post if you change your mind) Forum members refrain from asking for vehicles that are wholesale copies of a single specific real-life vehicle.(however, mentioning of features of particular vehicles to help describe the features of their ideal BeamNG vehicles is strongly encouraged) Forum members refrain from asking for rumored vehicles (including those off of the 'concept list' - if any of those come, there is reason to believe will probably come as 'surprise' vehicles) So, if you were sitting in the dev team's place, would you preview another round, and if so, what would you show off? Remember, the question isn't just what you would like to see! It's more a question of which vehicles you think would get good reception from the community, and which vehicles are needed to build a well-rounded game. And, as before, the disclaimer: The development team is under no obligations to provide any sort of poll or preview images, and is not even obligated to provide a certain number of them if they do decide to provide them. This thread is purely a thought exercise designed by myself to gauge community interest, and is not official or binding in any way.
This is a continuation of my list. 4. A 60s or 70s Soviet car like the Moskvitch 412 and VAZ 2101. It could have a lot of body styles like a 4-door sedan, 3/5 door wagon, 3-door van, 2-door pickup, even a limousine or an off-roader like the Citroen Mehari or the Bohse Eurostar. It could also have a few facelifts and export models. This could add a lot of variety to the game. 5. A late 20s or early 30s American car like the Ford Model A and Chevrolet Series AA/AB/AC/AD/AE. This could also have a lot of body styles, like a 2-door sedan, 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan, 4-door wagon, 2-door truck, a bus, and more. There are not many games that have realistic pre-war cars, and I think the devs could make a very realistic pre-war car. This could also add a lot of variety. 6. A late 60s or early 70s French executive sedan with a rotary engine like the NSU Ro 80 and Citroen GS Birotor. This could be the first French sedan, the first car with a rotary engine, and the first car with a hydropneumatic suspension. This would also be a better representation of French cars than the Vivace/Tograc in my opinion. The game also needs older European cars. 7. A late 70s subcompact 'world car' like GM's T-Platform, Chrysler's Horizon, and Ford's Escort. It would be sold around the world, like the T-Car, under a few different brands. There could be a German variant, a British variant, an American variant, a Canadian variant, a few South American variants, an Australian variant, a Japanese variant, a South Korean variant, and maybe even a Chinese variant, with many body styles and a few gasoline and diesel 4 cylinder engines. A car like this would be very versatile and could fill a lot of unfilled niches. 8. A lightweight British roadster like the MGB or the Triumph Spitfire. There are no British cars or roadsters. It could also be pre-war like the MG TA Midget or the Morgan 4/4.
70s Economy car with like 40 hp 2010s dodge challenger styled car to go with the bastion 2000s cheap sports car like a dodge neon or something 60s economy car like a valiant mixed with an amc rambler 70s british sports car like an MG or austin healey 20s luxury sedan with a v16 Tata Nano like ripoff
70s land yacht or a fuselage style Mopar type car such as the Chrysler New Yorker or Imperial Lebaron (70s fuselage style). Apologies for the mini-bump bu I feel something like that is necessary. Games these days lack older cars
can agree, would kill to have something like a 70s firebird (coolest car gm ever built change my mind) or just anything pre 80s really
For real, it's a shame BeamNG has been focusing on more modern vehicles these days, the release of the miramar, moonhawk and burnside special was the best thing ever
