New day, new update! Modified and fixed issues with plastic textures and some incorrectly lit switches in the interior Added a toggleable box for the hazards button Added 17x9 TRD Wheels (thanks to @Braskus ) Modified the 200BX I4 engine specs into a SR20DE engine (thanks to @Braskus ) Fixed steering column and steering wheels positioning (thanks to @STEVIE_G4M1NG_YT ) And about the animated shifter, I already warned the R position is bugged and have no idea how to code it into place, I have only been able to adjust P and D.
The TRD shifter is fixed for the next update, but nothing I can do about the position, again, I said only P and D are in place, and don't know how to make the rest of the gears go into their proper place. Not sure how to implement those, I already did some testing and I was only able to make the hazards work this way. It would be great to make among others the sliding rear window, but again, not a clue on how it can be done.
I am late for this, but I just want to appreciate you and your tallent as I haven't seen a better first and second mod like this in a while as your SUV's. Keep it up! how on earth do you make FH5 models crash so well lmao
This is one of the best mods I've seen in a long time. Congratulations. There are 2 suggestions: the first, is that the box has very short gear ratios for those of the real 4runner. For example, in 5th gear at 100km/h (60mph) it should run at something like 1600rpm, but this one runs over 2000. I wish the gear ratios could be fixed to match the real thing, to improve the experience. Secondly, and I don't know if this is just my assessment, but I think the torque converter slips too much. I don't have a 4runner, but from what I've seen in some videos, and have tested on some automatic gearboxes, it's like the converter never locks up. Even comparing it to beamng cars, it still slips a lot. Those are my suggestions, and again, great job, and keep it up!!!!! Pd: sorry for my bad english XD
It's a great mod. In my experience, having driven a pair of 5th gen 4runners, they are absolute barges on the road. They do not handle well, the brakes are terrifyingly bad - just like the FJ Cruiser, and they feel a lot more planted than Jeeps do. This is captured pretty well in the mod. I'd love to see aftermarket front/rear bumpers and rock sliders!
Thanks for the input, the mod is always evolving and in fact I'm awaiting an engine update by @starblockset that should make a nice difference regarding that at least. Regarding more bumpers and rock sliders, those will be done soon for sure, in fact I'm working on bringing extra bumpers from the Roamer, like the bash bumper: Once there is enough done and proven content, the update will launch, the rate has been a bit crazy lately again and I want an update with more than 2 changes, even if those changes are critical.
YUP YUP YUP!!!! --- Post updated --- how about these!! https://trail4runner.com/wp-content...white_4runner_blue_wheels_negative_offset.jpg
