What will this function bring on the table though? I could not understand the use for this, would be happy if someone may explain

you can set it so that the car spawns with the engine turned off,
and separating the ignition from the starter and running engine means, for example, you'll be able to turn the ignition on, then bump-start the car, rather than deliberately stalling it.

Interesting, thanks a lot for the explanation. So it is more of an immersive function for the realism

Can't wait to use walk mode to bump-start an old Covet or H-series, it will make the game so much more realistic, at least as far as my real-life experience with cars go.

you can already, some cars you just have to turn the key just as the engine starts spinning as otherwise it will turn off the ignition , but if you put a broken starter the ignition will stay on. and then just push and put in gear

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but since the new Civetta Scintilla features openable doors (without having to break them which is nice), does anyone else see that functionality perhaps being passed down to other official, in-game vehicles in future updates?

I‘m not sure by I think they said that they at least plan on implementing it on more cars (maybe they meant future cars and remasters)

Probably, although I wouldn’t think it would be that hard to add the vehicle triggers to every vehicle’s doors. I’m pretty sure the D-series already has a trigger for its tailgate anyway.

Maybe they'll make it so you can damage the starter?
If I remember correctly, it only took a few days after the triggers were introduced, for an openable doors mod to be released

Im betting that the next update will release the remastered covet and moonhawk side by side, and instead of adding a new vehicle, simply add new bodystyles to the existing chassis to increase the diversity the platforms have to offer.

I believe the Scintilla was the test bed, and they wanted to see how players used the feature and see if anything was broken before adding it to all the other vehicles.

I don't see any reason to expect a Moonhawk remaster in 0.26, and I really hope that she gets the spotlight for whatever update it's in. One of the things that really worries me with both the Moonhawk and T-Series remasters is content. While I'll be happy to see quality improvements (I don't use either of them anymore since the Moonhawk looks like a RoR port and the T-Series isn't much better), their potential to realized content ratio is absolutely atrocious. Both of those need D-Series sized remasters as far as content goes IMO, and I'd hate for them to get shafted content wise like the Pessima did (that thing is absolutely beautiful but outside of the JTC config it was pretty content light)

What would make a lot more sense is a 1980's Pessima remaster with the Covet, since they are contemporary volume economy Ibishu FF compacts which share an engine choice.
