I cannot find a way to completely import a vehicle from BeamNG into Blender. I know how to import the .DAE file, but thats only the body parts, not the wheels, engine, etc. Is there something that makes this really simple? Like a mod for BeamNG to export a whole vehicle to a single .DAE or .blend, or a addon for Blender that can import the whole thing? P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong subforum, I'm new here
if the car you're importing doesn't have an engine, the car will either have a second DAE file labelled "mechanical" in its zip file, or the meshes might be in the \vehicles\common\ folder (if the parts are shared between multiple vehicles, like the pickup/roamer/van chassis). for wheels, it's more difficult, as the position of the wheels is determined by the suspension Jbeam file, you'll have to first find the wheels and tires from the mesh files you want (which are a disorganised mess in the common folder), then import them and manually put them in position, based on the coordinate given in the suspension jbeam.
BeamNG has a 3d mesh export UI app, which is useful for exporting the current car in whatever state, even crashed.
My 3D mesh export UI app freezes my game, and I have to shut it down in task manager. Anyone else experiencing this?
Whats your card specs? I'm running Geforce RTX2080 OC 8GB GDDR6 and i9 processor and 64GB RAM Should not be a problem?
