update: -added AUDM 200sx and nissan badging cause I forgot about it -improved alignment of front suspension (again) -adjusted steering angle to be more accurate -adjusted alignment of rear suspension -modelled optional rear ducktail spoiler this one took a surprisingly long time to model, for some reason I just couldn't get the shading right real: -re-modelled the lower part of the rear bumper near the exhaust cause I accidentally deleted it at some point -fixed some small issues around the exhaust area -modelled nismo Spec-Pro heat shield and muffler (I'm counting some nismo parts as non-aftermarket so they're coming before the other aftermarket stuff) real:
Looks amazing, though i'd very much recommend increasing the polycount on the exhaust shield, so that it's more rounded than the harsh edges it currently has
Yeah, I was debating whether I should do it or not but I ended up not since I didn’t think it’d be to jarring. I’ll bevel it now tho since someone noticed.
update: -Added sunroof in-game -Added slightly updated model in-game -Updated parts of unibody model to deform better -Improved deformation of rear of unibody -Completely re-shaped unibody jbeam to match new proportions of the car, basically every node is in a new position now -modified fender jbeams to fit to the car better -re-shaped front bumper jbeam to fit the car better -improved interior deformation -reshaped windshield, quarter glass and backlight jbeams to match model better -updated material setup in-game with a more finalised material set (because there are less materials and no texture maps, some parts may have the wrong color atm) -added more realistic materials for interior in-game (no texture maps yet though) -UV unwrapped unibody material, it should be ready for texture maps now in theory
Ty, I’ve had tons of time these last few days so I was able to put like 20 hours into the project in 3 days. I also like putting updates out really often. --- Post updated --- there’s a crash at the end of the hirochi raceway driving footage, but yeah I should show some updated crashes at some point
