Update - Error

I haven't played the game in a while, so I went to update it and play it, every time I update, I get the following error.

Unable to download file: Version.txt
Couldn't Connect to Server

However, I have a perfect connection to my internet and have updated the game before, I also do not have any mods installed.

 

The old updater is deprecated and no longer functional. You'll have to get a Steam key from here and then redeem it on Steam. http://beamng.com/service/latestorder

Thanks for the reply but I already found out. I do have one question, will any mods I h a be currently ie cars or levels work with the steam version? I currently have like 30 cars (mods) and 5 levels (mods) and gave pasted them from my old folders into the steam one.

 

Yeah they all work. Only exception is if you opt into the experimental builds, there are then a small handful of vehicle mods which won't render because rather than including the .dae file for the model like they should, they instead include the cached .DTS file which the experimental version doesn't like.
