there is the traffic light that is facing opposite side of the highway and towards to ocean --- Post updated --- ill fix that in a jiffy
That traffic light must be turned 90° to face the downward side of this road. That's its only use because the road going left is the on-ramp to the expressway on this part of the WCUSA map. --- Post updated --- There's also that sidewalk part next to the fire hydrant in the Nodeoline gas station (in the Jefferson Imports crossroad), in which a convenient ramp existed before the 0.21 Update but, after that Update, there's no chance for any car with a relatively low ground clearance to not break its front bumper while trying to enter the gas station from this point.
If the mid-engined Covet doesn't get a transverse V6 option, I'm willing to bet someone will put a turbocharged Pessima V6 in it and we'll finally have dkutch's legendary Covet MRi V6 back
That wouldn't fit and even if it did, the weight distribution would be completely ruined Okay, maybe the Wendover V8 would fit? Wouldn't make much sense, the turbo I4 probably makes more power anyway
I’m sure someone will fit a Wendover V8 in there. I did it at one point in an AW Astro pre remaster, when it was still called the ETK A-Series, was very interesting to drive, but really didn’t drive that badly.
Did you test it with a keyboard, controller or FFB wheel? Only with an FFB wheel (or a controller and hours of practice) can you actually get a feel for how BeamNG's cars drive, and V8 torque plus massive weight imbalance is the last thing you want in a mid-engined car weighing under 3000 lbs. Plus, every extra cylinder is a couple dozen more parts that can go wrong in an endurance race, and there's nothing quite like the scream of a well-tuned V6 spinning up to 10k+ RPM
How about a two-stroke crossplane I4 with direct injection, forced scavenging and crankcase oil? That's equivalent to a four-stroke V8 but weighs only as much as an I4, definitely too expensive for civilians in the late 80's/early 90's but not unheard of in racing
In performance it is, but in sound... it isn't i4 - goog perform i4 - meh sound v8 - poop perform v8 - yes sound
They put the Bolide's V8 in the Piccolina, i believe it'll fit in the Covet as well The real deal would be cramping in the Civetta V10
maybe taking two covet rears and tacking them together (or just making it a little less than 33% longer) would allow more than enough space for a mid-mounted v-10 it'll just drive like a sedan with a cow in the backseat
A version with the Twin-Turbo V6 would make a ton of sense as a Group B Rally Car, tbh, especially with AWD. --- Post updated --- My God, this also resurrects the Autobello Civettalina! I'd really like to see an official Civettalina lineup with versions ranging from the 3.2 Twin-Turbo V8 and the 3.5 and 3.9 NA V8s and going all the way to the 5.0 V10!
