Yeah, that would be perfect. The Moonhawk, Barstow, Burnside, Gen 1 Pessima, and Miramar definitely need remastering. --- Post updated --- The reason I say the Burnside is the worst off is that... it doesn't even have a rusty skin. Seems silly, but remember that it's from the 50s and it would really help thematically. Hell, the Barstow has a dirty skin!
If the game updates tomorrow, I will literally drink a glass of water and post a picture here of the glass of water before and after I drink it.
Honestly not sure about the Gen 1 Pessima, I think it could do with texture improvements in some places, maybe some new variations similar to what the Covet is getting, but overall I think it's actually aged pretty well. I think the cars that have aged the worst are actually the new ETK's (they don't have interior textures, at all) and the ETK I-series and SBR4 (styling was impressive on release but is showing cracks). I will cry if the MR Turbo doesn't have an AWD option. Also, I would pay money for an official Pessima "M4 Turbo.6" (mid-engine turbo V6 with all-wheel drive), especially if there were a wagon option as well
Why not when u drinking ? When u crash Sunburst in red color body have different color than body parts. Same when u install bigger fenders...
Piccolina doesn't have a rusty skin either somehow, I guess the logic is that if it rusted then the rust would have eaten it completely decades ago
I wish that we will get something like Barstow sister/brother with remaster of the Barstow. Like some kind Soliad car (ex. cadillac eldorado).
Soliad is for Bruckell, Burnside is for Gavril. With that said though, you're right. These two subsidiaries need their lineups be expanded and the existing engines of their parent companies (Gavril 232ci/4.1 I6s and 4.5/291ci/313ci/5.5/353ci/6.9/423ci V8s and Bruckell 2.2/2.5 I4s, 3.3/3.5/3.8 V6s and 4.4/5.7/378ci/6.5 V8s plus the existing transmissions of each) can support that expansion. Not to mention that the Moonhawk needs to be remastered and its engine choices to be expanded, so even more engine content for expanding the Bruckell and Soliad brands.
The reason I say the Burnside is the worst off is that... it doesn't even have a rusty skin. Seems silly, but remember that it's from the 50s and if we want things to fit a The new ETKs better be getting remasters over the next few updates. Just tons of road cars, mostly. And as for the I-Series and SBR, those aged... okay. Nowhere near perfect, so a remaster is in order. Gen 1 Pessima I mostly brought up because Gen 2 got its remaster (or is getting its remaster I'm slightly out of the loop).
The Burnside is definitely short on content, as is the Miramar, but the moonhawk and sunburst are in far worse condition quality-wise, meaning they'll likely be prioritised. The only other possibility is that they want to release a platform mate to one such car, like how they pushed the Legran remaster forward to coincide with the release of the Wendover.
All these four cars can have their platform mates. The Moonhawk can have a Sedan and a Wagon variant, the Miramar can have a 2-door Coupe variant, the Sunburst can have a Wagon variant and the Burnside Special can have a Wagon variant along with a 2-door Hardtop, a Lead Sled 2-door Hardtop and a soft-top Convertible variant. Not to mention the further content expansion in terms of engine offerings: more V8s for the Moonhawk, switch to Boxer-4s for the Sunburst, a race-bred 2.0l I6 as the top engine option for the Miramar and a predecessor of the Gavril 232ci I6 for the Base version of the Burnside Special.
those aren't platform mates, they're alternate bodystyles. when the devs made the wendover, they weren't thinking "lets make a legran coupe" they were thinking "lets make a completely new 80s PLC. but copy some mechanical parts over." it's got an entirely unique body, interior, it's filed separately making them split in the vehicle selector. true platform mates would be more like: a FWD fullsize bacchus, or compact vega/pinto thing for the moonhawk, a nissan fairlady sports-eqsue thing or a light truck for the miramar, a pickup or c1 corvette thing for the burnside, and maybe a forester/rav4 type thing built on the sunburst (or even just tying it closer to the SBR)
I would like it to get pessima's 2l as factory option albeit longitudinal Or even 2.4l na i4 for us markets?
I just assumed the Pessima and 200BX 2.0 are basically the same, just tuned slightly differently. But I think it should get more N/A tuning options like the second gen Pessima. The 2.4 is not a bad idea either, I just feel it would be too similar to the real 240SX. They could put an I6 or V6 in it, but I think those would fit a different (Supra/300z like) car better. I did however mod a 2.5 I5 into it once, and it was a dream to drive. But I5 is also strange for a Japanese car of the era, the only Japanese I5 in the 90's that I know about is the Acura one.
