    its not even in the file. infact i believe it is from that moonhawk facelift/executive mod. regardless it would excuse nothing. normally this is meaningless that a reupload happened but this is on the official website for gods sake.

    Depends who approves which mod. Whoever was in charge of your mod did a good job on checking the contents properly. And some other devs unfortunately just approve whatever without checking it seems. Sometimes mods with blatantly stolen assets, and a few times I've even seen real life cars disguised as lore friendly but with real badges and stuff, obviously meshslaps.

    but are they even safe? iv'e used modland before (only for mods that aren't on the repo anymore) and i don't even use beamng mods anymore
    i barely use modland or beamng mods anymore cuz i'm afraid viruses
    and adware ect.
