Hahaha, two months ago it was version 0.24. Now is version 0.25 and do means two options: either version 0.25 broke the texture, or you need to convert your materials to JSON format.
I know, plus it doesn't have to be .json format just to get it all working. But either way, they are working without issues on my side. Look out for mods that could still conflict.
So today I did something like this: 1. I turned off all my mods except this mod. 2. I have wiped my cache thoroughly. 3. The texture has turned ... brown (it was green once before) Conclusions? This can't be a mod conflict. However, I have suspects: Dansworth C1500 - front engine school bus or Gavril B series - heavy off-road truck
what. how the hell does it turn brown? Can't you color it? And also the dansworth C1500 is very old and breaks lots of textures, I have B-Series and it doesn't create any issues with these.
So I did this: 1. I uninstalled the school bus mod. 2. I have wiped my cache thoroughly. 3. And then nothing. (At least loading frame has texture) Well, the last suspect is an 8x8 Jakku heavy all terrain utility truck. And I don't have GTG T series or other AR162B mods installed. Here are my truck mods: 1. 8x8 Jakku heavy utility truck 2. Gavril B series. 3. MAN TGS Euro 6. So I guess I already know what could be causing this problem ... Trailers in Parts Selector Agent_Y. This mod has bugs and prevents me from coloring tractor units. One more note: I didn't download the original Dansworth mod, only the patch by the plane guy from the discussion thread. So the school bus mod is unlikely to affect this texture issue, but you never know Have you downloaded the latest version of the mod?
hi mate.. the long trailer with that windmillwing on it the trailer itself got no textures.. so either its a modconflict or outdated.. i dont know if i can see somewhere if it is a modconflict? im def not gonna remove 60 mods to check that out lol
Look, I know the mod is extremely broken and all, but you are the ONLY person to have that tractor units issue with it, nobody else has it and there is no way my mod could be even posibly causing this because all of the names of meshes and materials are all unique so there is absolutely no way this could happen, example: Theoretically this can't conflict with other mods, UNLESS someone stole some files from my mod and put them in their own mod. I would rather suspect that your core game files are damaged rather than my mod doing that. --- Post updated --- Funny thing that you CAN get working PBR with CS format, it's definitely not intended but it does work. But either way CS support is getting removed in 0.26 so it's required to switch to json anyway.
Remember when I called the 8x8 Jakku meshlap truck? You wrote then that this truck is based on a heavily modified T series. Looking for a mod that prevents me from coloring tractor units, I remembered about it. I uninstalled the 8x8 Jakku truck, wiped the cache thoroughly and was able to FINALLY color the tractor units. Your mod has nothing to do with it even though it's a little broken. I apologize to you for blaming your mod too hastily for this. You are a good modder and your mods are great. I apologize once again if you got upset. --- Post updated --- How do you know that?
That is still not a meshslap, but has lots of broken duplicate materials, also for some reason in the files of it are also some materials from the earliest version of CRD monster truck... What the heck --- Post updated --- From Los Injurus thread, it's the reason why the map's update took so long, thousands of materials needed to be converted to Json
Something feels, version 0.26 might be like version 0.20, only it will only be for skins. So half (or even MORE THAN half) of the skins will become broken and useless due to the .cs format
Yeah it will break over half of all mods, I'm even making a list of the mods I know that will break. And cs is not only for skins, it was everywhere in old mods, even up to 2020 in some cases.
Because this 1% of people are all those who follow the topic of Los Injurus on an ongoing basis. And the developers will most likely announce the retirement of the .cs format EARLY on the release of version 0.26.
