Suspension issue?

Ever since the new update, the cars in game have been giving me problems. Not all cars but most cars. One of the problems I am getting is suspension upgrades or tune ups.

When I pick the Ibishu 200bx and add race suspension, I am only allowed to adjust the front end but for the rear suspension, I could only adjust chamber and tow, there is no option to stiffen the springs or lower it.

The Ibishu 200bx isn’t the only car that has this problem as other of the default cars are having trouble as well. I cleared the cache multiple times but still no fix.

 

Just realized this as well. I can confirm having a similar problem with the 200BX's race suspension, I have no tuning options for the rear suspension aside from Anti-roll bars. Haven't noticed on other cars yet though.

Other cars would be also to Covet and the GM. Those are the only other 2 cars I have tested but I feel like there is more..

The only car that made it out of the list was the D-series Pickup as it let me tune both front and rear suspensions. I believe that the mod for the 300bx is also have the same problem as the 200bx.

Glad to know that I am not the only one lol. I am having trouble with messing around with the 300bx mod as it would not let me tune the rear end and it either just stays too low or at stock height despite having race suspension.

With the Covet, the only time the car is lowered is when I pick the pre-set race versions of the car but when I go to tune it, I can only tune the front end just like the 200bx.

I am glad to know that some people are noticing this lol. It’s been days and I felt like my mods were the one that caused this but I guess not.

 

Removing {"stepDis":1}, from line 559 in coupe_suspension_R.jbeam fixes it for the 200BX.

It could be my mods but I don’t have anything that would mess with the performance. If I do have a mod that involves messing around with the performance, it’s more just more intakes or better radiators for cars that doesn’t have high performance radiators.

Once again, it could be my mods but for me I think it is unlikely as I literally deep clean everything on Beamng and reinstalled mods that worked the best for me.

Honestly, I could be wrong on the covet part as I remember that I only tested it once late at night lol so I will check on that again. Sorry my memory is quite shit right LOL.

I’ve just been a bit fed up with how the suspension is messed up on the 200bx. I’d like to add on that the facelift mod for the 200bx isn’t working as it should either which adds to my frustration lol.

Facelift 200bx spawns in perfectly but no tachometer, I could hear the engine idling but no other sounds or movements when I press on the gas and row into different gears. I know this is a different topic but I was wondering if anyone has experienced that or it’s just me.

 

I have all of the same issues. the "jzx" 200bx doesn't have a tac this goes for any 200bx chassis that doesn't use the OEM one. the rear suspension isn't tuneable as well. Does anyone have a fix?

 

Don't know about the tachometer since it works for me on the 100JBX, but this fixed the suspension tuning for me.

 

How do you go about removing line 559
