99.99% of EDM makes my ears vomit, and that is really saying something considering I do suffer from a ridiculously narrow ear canal which is easily blocked and couldnt pass "ear vomit" if they tried.

eh, there is probably a catchy tune in a video game somewhere that I have discovered but since forgotten, that occupies the 00.01%.

For the most part, I don't like punk rock. It just has no...it's boring. It just all blends together. The whole song sounds exactly the same. Not really a fan.

I like about the first 20 seconds of this song, and whenever the only other time it slows down in the middle.
As for what I'm listening to:

A class that I'm taking at school turned me on to Johnny Cash.
I've noticed that I'm slowly starting to like the music my dad listens to, which I used to find unbelievably stupid.

You know, there are punk songs that have different sounds throughout the song. Maybe you're just not a fan of that band in particular. Most of what I listen to is punk, so I can tell you that both the sound and the singers from band to band can sound VERY different. For instance, Fat Mike and NOFX (terrible band, btw) sounds almost nothing like Tim McIlrath and Rise Against (best band ever, imo). Like I said, it all comes down to preference.

As for the whole "this song sounds exactly the same from beginning to end" keep in mind that Bad Religion recorded that song in 1996. If you want variation in a punk song, here's one of my favorite examples of classic RA. My first RA song, as well.

That is much better. The problem with the other songs are that they bore me because there isn't enough change in tempo and melody and loudness and all that fancy shit. That one is constantly changing throughout.
I do respect your opinion, though. Everyone has their own preference.

I must've edited that post 90,000 times before you posted that response, oops. Rise Against does like to play around with the tempo of some of their songs, so you might like them for that. Another good example of that from them, only this one is a bit newer.

@n0ah1897 Awkward. I didn't realize you meant the band Ra, and not Rise Against's initials, RA. We're still cool, though.

I was surprised that someone else actually knew Ra, too good to be true I guess. :) Not the most popular band. Definitely underrated.
