Update Speculation thread

They do often bring new cars, even when remastering. Examples before 0.24 and 0.25 are the ️endower and the Wigeon

But thinking that we will get more sport cars and off-road picollina. And Minivan is just to much regular car

 

I really hope they dont go down the sport road much further.
Would be a huge disappointment for me atleast.
There little to none good sims where you just can cruise around in day to day vehicles i dont want BeamNG to become the next sim racer there are really enough of them.

 

That's kinda BeamNG's bread and butter, though. Driving aggressively in cars that either patently aren't fast or aren't meant to be fast, especially on traffic-choked public roads, is where this game shines. Besides, the last two new cars we've gotten were both modern (>5 years old), and both heavily performance oriented.

Not to say I'm not looking forward to the class 5 Piccolina, of course

 

What I’d like to see as well would be a really old car like a 1930s car

 

I hope we will be getting more new euro/asian cars/variants or remastered cars right now the game is still very murica centric as most cars are american ones which is totally fine but i still wish for some more variety and i don’t get why some remastered cars like the pessima only come in murica spec there was so much more potential in my opinion for euro/asian configurations but oh well really excited what the future will bring to this game.

 

it would be nice if they added a fading effect to all halogen lights ngl.

 

I still think a safety-focused concept car of sorts could have potential, maybe even based on the Covet. Just a version that was designed to be as safe as possible. I don't know how possible that idea is without any form of working airbags but eh

 

in that spirit it could be fun to have a car with some more advanced driver's assistance systems like automatic emergency braking, lane assist and reverse cameras.

 

I hope for a pre war vehicle

 

With updated hydraulics and the career mode being worked on I think we're going to see more specialized vehicles soon, my bet is on a crane truck and an excavator of some sort.Also it would be really fun for messing with the cars.

Yeah true! These tires have to be some kind of teaser for an upcoming vehicle. Damn I can't wait for the time when updates are going to be about content rather than fixes, like "The Worksite update" and so on

 

I‘m just looking forward to the next teaser (I gues next week, has been 1 month after the update the last few times) so there is sth new to speculate about

 

Will you ever update the "Gridmap after 10 Years" mod?

 

Will we ever get Minivan ?

 

Would be a lot cooler if we did!
