not sure if it's supposed to be like this or not, or if it's already known, but i've found that when slamming on the brakes at high speeds on vehicles without ABS (sometimes on vehicles with 4 wheel abs as well when abs has problems) the wheels tend to shake

Seems like the Hirochi Raceway collision isnt implemented for the update, at least for me its not. Any chance of a quick update to fix it?

EDIT - Deleting the Hirochi Raceway.zip in the Documents Cache then verifying integrity on Steam fixes it. Thank to Sebulba for the fix.

Right now all the meshes are using the visual mesh for collision, which results in glitchy behavior. When the track is finished, it'll have proper stable collision meshes.

This house on East Coast USA is right on top of the driveway. Looks like you just put the wrong model down when placing houses lol

After the most recent update, the UI seems to be absolutely destroying my framerate, resulting in sub 30fps on Dry Rock and East Coast. Removing the UI with shift-U or pausing the physics resumes a normal 50-60 fps in most areas. I made a short vid, but Youtube has destroyed it using its God awful processing. Hopefully you can see the frame counter at higher resolutions, but if you can't, 50-60fps with no UI, 25-30fps with UI.

I noticed an FPS drop also. Even on the Grid (testing) map, I noticed alot of stuttering even with a D-15. I turned on v-sync and it seemed to smooth out a little.

I have the same problem. With every car, including the Covet i'm getting worse fps than before in every map, and also the main menu it's laggy and slow.

Speaking of UI, did the font change? It looks different.

Good lord I started a trend with the house claiming.

Anyways I'm just curious. Right now the game is in the process of polishing the engine some more and making it as solid as possible. But other than other car mods and the race update. What comes next? What is next in the development for this game? Other than map/vehicle wise? Are we going to see interactive locations on maps like east coast USA where you can have your car painted, full car or individual panels. More detailed simulation of the engine such as Temps and fluids. Like oil changes radiator fluids.. etc. I'd really like to see where this game is going next. A basic campaign mode on East coast USA and have loading screens when u reach the end of the map to load new locations would be a way to make a large world, have where you start with some money buy a car do jobs fix it up etc. Is this just some ideas I'm coming up with on a whim or is kinda the idea of where this game wants to go.

To add go the interactive locations. Have an auto parts store that has a general list of basic stuff and little upgrades. Also along the lines of my house claiming trend, maybe purchase home with garages store our cars, and order parts and they take like 1-3 hours or even longer if their on backorder to recieve. That would be a dream game I think would be successful. But I really want to know how this game is going to be designed. This is just my ideas nothing official or anything to claim.

This is what I talk about when I mean engine optimization

    (imported from here)

How does this use almost 1024mb of my graphics memory.

    (imported from here)

Torque needs shadow optimization. I am sorry for making so many posts about this. This will be my last

I too am wondering what's going on. After the PRU update I figured a few months until the main race update? would be released but instead the guys
release all the WIP stuff. Was this just a "snack" to tide everyone over or is there a new strategic plan for BeamNG?
The current state of the experimental build clearly shows a lot of work needs to be done and something
as epic as a fully functioning race system seems even more remote after the experimental release.
There's lots of stuff going on with a new version of T3D just around the corner and trying to get DX11 and 64 bit stuff working so maybe that figures into things?
