if we're presuming it's not an ETK, who's to say it's not polish, ukrainian, russian, even french?

 

My money is either on ETK or Jargl i but yeah could be anything.

 

I am certain that it is ETK, but I don't deny possibility of Volvo-esque brand either - Mercedes Unimog and Volvo C303 are by far the closest real-life counterparts to the teased vehicle, especially as they are built as off-road trucks/vans from the start, instead of being some kind of conversion.

In regards to if it is Polish, Ukrainian, Russian or French - I haven't seen anything similar from these countries, as usually they are making military cab-forward or cab-over trucks. Only UAZ really matches with off-road capabilities but it is just a normal van with four-wheel-drive.

 

For me it sounds like a extractable/ rotating ladder would be a nice opportunity to use the new hydraulic system

 

Yeah, i honestly cant imagine a situation where they wanna do a vehicle like that after overhauling hydraulics and not put the vehicle to good use in terms of hydraulic equipment.

 

Yeeeees, hadn't thought about the Hydraulic system!! And the hydraulic pump can also be useful for any water-spraying mechanism that may appear!!!

In an imaginary scenario, can you imagine how long an electric car fire in BeamNG would last? I mean, this would require a large water container and a forklift. Getting it too far, I know.

 

Yep, even a gasoline car would burn quite long in beamng time

 

Even gasoline would end sometime in the next few hours. An electric car fire can literally burn for days if you let it.

 

To steer a little bit back to the truck: I do hope i gets a regular four-wheel variant too.
6x6 sure as rain is gonna be fun times but i hope for variety!

 

A simple 4-wheeled version with large diameter thin wheels (ideally equipped with tractor tires) would make great sense for farmwork, especially with a regular cab and rear bed. Plus, I'd like to see how wide such a version of the truck will be because lest we forget that the Unimog was specifically designed for farmwork and, more specifically, to fit between two potato plants, for greater agility.

 

Yeah, i´ve got no doubts the thing will be the embodiment of modular!
Would just make no friggin sense otherwise to get such vehicle ingame.

It may be a ugly car but I'm about as hyped as the guy in the vid.
This will drive completely different than anything we currently have in game and very likely bringing a totally different engine and drivetrain setup as well.
I could even see it get a bus version, or a even safari bus with seats in a roofed bed for watching kangoroos

 

As i mentioned before im convinced that this thing will be the most modular platform beam has ever seen.
The very embodiment of variety!

 

I hope the new off-road truck has military versions as well, because some of the trucks that it is based on has a military version. It would also make it our first official military vehicle as well.

 

The D-Series has a CUCV-esque variant so we already got our first one but yeah. I think it will get this aswell but i already stated that many times in my recent posts.
Most likely if its a ETK it will be a Bundeswehr variant.

 

As a Austrian id prefer a Bundesheer Variant
