I used some used parts. a used PSU, a used GPU, used CPU The motherboard was a new x79 one from japan. And a fan is attached to my CPU heatsink via zip ties (can't get anymore redneck)
Judging by the overall shape of the Trophy Truck and by the fact that it's got yellow lights in the grille, it is definitely based on a production vehicle. An original Trophy Truck, created from scratch, without being based on a production vehicle, wouldn't even care keeping the basic shape.
Well, we still dont know if this is based on a production vehicle that will be shipped with it unfortunately.. I really hope so because this will be the interesting part for me. If this comes as race-build truck only im out for this one, its really not interesting me I sure hope you´re right! --- Post updated --- Well, i have since 2016 and got zero issues with it. I will never get how you people spend fortunes on new tech when you can get a really good machine if you willing to take a risk. Who dares, wins.
Yup. A trophy truck is cool, but everyone would be much, much more interested in the stock truck that it is based off of. I doubt that they will just release the trophy truck and leave it at that. At some point in time, probably after the trophy truck is released, the stock truck it is based on could come out too.
Well, i have since 2016 and got zero issues with it. I will never get how you people spend fortunes on new tech when you can get a really good machine if you willing to take a risk. Nobody ever got I really, really ,really would be very confused if they decide to release the trophy truck and leave it at that. It would just make no good sense for doing so. My take is that either what you said will be the truth or even bolder to assume: the really expanded on staff and turn our interests a little away from it with the new Utility Vehicle and the ETK stuff and BAM hammer down the road version with the trophy truck and surprise everyone! Of course not all in the same update but not very far apart from each other is my take. They pulled of surprise moves like this before so guys n girls i assure you the next months will be certainly VERY, very interesting.
Well that's an assumption and a half right there. If this is a dedicated racing platform, as I still suspect, then that sets an absolutely massive precedent. The first vehicle content in BeamNG that isn't a street car/truck opens up the doors to so much more potential content. As much as I want to see a modern Bruckell pickup, the idea of seeing an entirely new class of content is massively more interesting and important to me. We already have what, 25 street vehicles? What's the big deal if we finally get something that isn't? I know a lot of people like driving street vehicles in game, but why does all the content have to be for that crowd only? They literally teased another street legal vehicle in the teaser following the Trophy Truck for that crowd
This is probably the most plausible scenario. But, as in real life, for the Trophy Truck to come before the stock truck, it has to debut in some kind of race so as to build up customer rapport. The classic "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" recipe never gets old. But on the other hand, a Trophy Truck doesn't even have to debut in a race because the more hardcore versions of the stock truck (talking about versions like the Raptor/Raptor R, TRX, Z71, Trail Boss etc.) will have already pumped the customers up.
It could be a trophy truck platform, and a modern truck, but the trophy truck has selectable bodies, to make it look like a completely different thing, or look like the street truck (if there is one). Just my take
Not to mention the frame could be repurposed for multiple classes. It could be in NASCAR, stadium racing, trophy baja, sand dune racing, rally raid, short course, prerunner, or even beach racing configs. Could even be repurposed for a 4-corner IFS street rig. Tube frames are super modular. For the ETK van, some obscure drivetrains could be cool-
We published the VOD on Twitch. I dunno about re-uploading it to YouTube though, the thing is nearly 4 GB. We may stream to both for the next one though
The next one… sounds like we don’t have to wait another 9 years for a stream xd. I really enjoyed the stream btw and would love to see more of them
We already have the cannon (literally a historic military weapon), D-Series Marauder which is literally a military package D-Series, the classic Hopper which is meant to be a homage to a "historic military vehicle" (the Jeep), and Jungle Rock Island has numerous abandoned IJN fortifications, anti aircraft guns, an airbase, and even a wrecked Mitsubishi A6M Zero in full IJN livery.
