@Finn Wilkinson What came to my mind just right know is that i may suggest use another starter sound for the V6 and V8 Engines as the one used right now is nowhere near at what you would exp Yeah i know. Thats why i said that they "not really" have these roots because sure they have atleast some of it. But if we down discussing Toyota then the offroad roots of course all mother down on the mighty Land Cruiser.
The X520T perseverence package looks like the Honda Passport HPD lol. Without the roof lights and the roof rack.
The doors open too easily in collisions, especially rollovers; however, even side impacts at ~35mph will cause the doors to behave strangely.
I don't know if this is an issue or apart of the mod, but the v6 and the v8 engines sound exactly the same.
I would agree with you, but to a certain extent. I noticed on the actual mod listing, that the car was "essentially sold everywhere" The S410T Interceptor is "equipped for intense chases in, and around, the USA." I could see where you're going with this, as the other police configs are in the EU I should've worded what I said better. Maybe just redo the lights on the S410T Interceptor, or any other American based config. Other than that, I still love this mod for what it is!
Just noticed the spare tyre hides the reverse lights, pretty sure theres no way it would be allowed on the road like that. Also noticed that while the rear door cards have a base option, the fronts do not, and always have the silver trim. The arch trim around the rear door appears to have a texture mismatch with the arch trim on the body, one looks shiny, while the other matte in certain lights. I have also noticed a crash test livery shown in the video is still missing, though that may of been made by Shados, and not for wider release. And one suggestion is that i wonder if there was a way for the gauges to display drive mode, and possibly suspension height?
Incredible result. The MOD turned out even better than I expected. Some notes: The doors open quite easily. They even opened unexpectedly during some manoeuvres, without any crash having occurred (already reported); The sunroof works strangely. Even already open, you can lower it (U). I don't know if it's possible to fix this error... Anyway, the unprecedented functionality was very cool! The most critical point: the stability of the vehicle as a whole. Above 80km/h the stability control cannot control the car in evasive movements. It gives the impression that the ESP does not act sufficiently in such a tall and heavy vehicle (2.7tons) and with a front apparently lighter than the rear. This causes you to lose control of the car, even with ESP activated. Still... 10/10.
That kinda looks like the expected behavior – it's more of a luxury barge than a performance car. Sure, the V8 sport model can go (really) fast in a straight line, but it's nowhere near useful on the track. I've slapped vanilla 20x9 racing slicks on the 22x8 tires just for the sake of it, and increased grip didn't help it being soft and heavy. I'd bet that without a proper racing suspension you can't do much about it (and that'd probably require some custom chassis as well, so I doubt it'll ever happen).
To me it looks like an almost identical copy of a chopped 200 Series Land Cruiser purpose built for the australian outback Without going too deep into this topic due to lack of my knowledge but its a high powered heavy, tall brick on wheels. I personally expected described behaviour as the electronic control systems have their limits of effectness due to physical limitations.
I’ve already written, but nobody answered or agreed(( Trail and off-road modes, doesn’t have locker imitations. I know that there are X-series which have all lockers, but S and L series doesn’t. They are still a big off roader’s and locker imitations would increase their off road capabilities very much. There are imitations on the comfort and sport modes, but they are cutting the power very much
