It never had intercoolers. Neither in the depicted position, nor in the classic one we know from Subaru cars (which is above the engine)! Plus, the Flat engines in the Sunburst open the window for that classic intercooler placement because the Sport RS version already has a big hood scoop!
And a Steam achievement for collecting all of them. Each interior would need to have a couple of different positions for them (i.e. on top of the dashboard, inside the cup holders, on the parcel shelf)
I hope devs look at these cars with love for the remasters, Hirochi needs desperatly more customization and a Brand characteristic
Exactly. Hirochi needs a certain brand identity and a certain role (or some certain roles, since modern cars are multifaceted) in the BeamNG lore and it already has one ingredient to help it carve its niche in that direction: the Flat engines. And, compared to Ibishu, it's a small brand too, so a small brand being unique always helps in that respect!
So, probably SBR remaster ? If so, maybe we'll get Sunburst remaster with it ? So many things teased in so little time...
I really get the feeling they staffed up a little. I dont think they would tease so many content if it would be more than one update ahead.
I think lobster is expensive, so it is more appropriate to the WCUSA. An apple pie would fit the ECUSA better.
Even if we only get half the vehicle content teased so far it probably will be the most in a single update, and it should be in a 3 month cycle no less... I wonder what the workflow was that allowed that and if we can expect such large amounts of content in updates going foward.
I really hope career mode has a series of "find the lost business mascot" missions... Imagine having to hunt down Rex-y or a 15ft tall lobster and bring them back home safely
Assuming it is a new map, I guess the one good thing about another American desert setting is that it can be big enough to make refueling a relevant game mechanic while being fairly light on resources and still having a decent mix of on- and off-road gameplay options... one way I could see it being an unforeseen innovation is if it features multiple natural environments in one map, something that hasn't really been done at scale yet and would be an interesting experiment. If I were the BeamNG devs, I would probably do this as a unification of Industrial and Derby Arenas with a lot of new terrain and content thrown in, the benefit being that now there's one huge map to represent Texas.
You mean ECUSA is modelled after Maine, which is known for lobsters? Idk. --- Post updated --- That's a great idea! Hunting down Rexy in the new map using the new Prerunner would look macho!
I mean, I see the buildings, the houses, the shops and the characteristic church in the middle of the town of the ECUSA map and they all look fairly normal, like the working middle class Americans have built them. That's why I said "apple pie", because there's a phrase created after this class: the "apple pie American". But it may only be the feel that part of the map gives me. But on the other hand, there are also many fishermen's huts near the shore, so yeah, maybe the ECUSA is modelled after Maine, after all!
