Hadn't even noticed that, tbh. We learn as we live! --- Post updated --- Yeah, I probably hadn't checked the map menu!
Diversity doesn't mean anything if the map is not played enough, All US maps are really good and diverse in their own sense, Italy lacks some of this diversity and is not played as much (but still played by a lot of players, just not as much).
You cant offroad in rural italy beside from some dirt roads which almost every non offroad road legal vehicle can master at ease. Yes. Some maps like italy really lack diversity.
I'm jumping back in after a while here, so please excuse some bumped posts. I'm really very excited and confused about the new tube-frame offroader(s)? That fire engine has my full attention - I've saw lot of people talking about how it looks like an ETK based on styling, and how it might be a Jargl based on its resemblance to certain Swedish vehicles, but I do want to point out that the Land Rover 101 also existed, and was available as both a 4x4 and 6x6: Kudos to the users who pointed out the RHD windshield wipers/instrument cluster and the 6x6 configuration - I hadn't noticed those. It's been great to see new rocks going in. I'm hoping that that's an update to the props and not just map assets. Speaking of new maps, this fuel station has been something that's really grabbed my interest, and not just because of the colour scheme and branding. (As an aside, I really do love Rexy, but does anyone else think he looks a little too glossy and shiny? It could just be the LOD, or the WIP, but he doesn't really seem to be lit the same way as the other objects in this scene. I feel like anything left standing outdoors in this hot, dry environment for any length of time wouldn't stay glossy for long under the beating of the sun) This does bring up an interesting point - not only due to the spacing of the pumps, but the height of the canopy/awning, this looks almost like a fuel station designed with heavy commercial vehicles in mind. The sudden appearance of a new fuel station brand makes more sense in that context (It still bothers me that we haven't got a truckstop on any map), but the building and parking lot that appeared in the concept art look a little small for the purpose. Now this - this is really exciting. That is definitely some form of towing lift, which has HUGE implications for tow trucks in the game, and the first real sign in quite some time that the dev team is actively working on ropables. If they can get that system working, then D-series and T-series tow trucks both become possible.
