I don't think I understand what's going on. There are at least 4 different vehicles in the works, and that's without even mentioning the rumors about remasters of different vehicles (K-series, for example) . There are: Spoiler: all recent different vehicle-related teasers The rear-engined buggy The ATV / amphibious vehicle The T-rex buggy/off-roader at the corner behind the sign This Desert Baja truck, which might just be the T-rex buggy with a truck fiber-glass shell? Can anyone with more knowledge on off-road racing confirm or deny this theory? And this firetruck van. Did the vehicle development team quadruple in size? Are they teasing things that are far from done and would come out far in the future, and we're seeing some vehicles that are still very early in their development cycle? Or is there something in common that was missing from the game that allowed all these to release simultaneously? All I can think that they have in common is they all seem to be off-road focused, and that was already in the game. I have no idea.
my guess is that the van and the buggies are fake and just there to rile us up. photoshopped, so is the map by the looks of it.
Sounds like a rotary but it also sounds like that old 1970 Datsun Cherry mod of MySummerCar. Sounds very similar to that sound.
Except one of them was actually in the game files before it was removed in a hotfix... I think everything is real but just not all of it is close to being done, some could be barely started
I would be surprised if these are "fake." sure the new map could just be a slight update to small island but i dont think they would lie about production of vehicles. Also considering the piccobuggy is already in game I dont think its fake
yeah but its just a mess lol. lets say the piccobuggy is real, then what about the (clearly photoshopped) map, or the van that we have only seen one vague video about? you guys said it yoursleves, they are just trying to created chaos here using a red herring, and when the update comes, we might get one thing.
Photoshopping something would do no good to the reputation of the game to the consumers. It's like drawing subway ticket box offices on canvas instead of building them for real to show that progress is being done (spoiler alert: we saw that too).
But i thought the point of teasers was to show off what the team is working on for future updates. Wouldn't make sense to show something that they have no intention on releasing
it doesn't even have to release at all. There is no new map, you see by looking at both pictures, which clearly seems to be drawings and nothing more.Nor is there a van, it's just another red herring as i said.
what the hell would be the point of hyping something that will not release either now or in the future?
- What's wrong with pickled herring? - Well, nothing if you're Swedish... Joking aside, no, I don't believe they would do photoshop to something they tease. Come to think of it: this would create a VERY bad rap and it would certainly become viral in the gaming circles for all the wrong reasons.
i guess beamng is working hard on offroaders for the campaign mode, i don't think so many cars whould make much sense other way, if they are being released together that's another story
That takes the cake, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve heard in this thread. A teaser is a sneak preview of something coming in the future. If those things aren’t coming ever, its not a teaser.
There certainly will be an update with new content. But when it will arrive and what it will contain, is pretty uncertain at this point. It is hard to imagine all that teased stuff making it into an update before Spring 2023.
