Update Speculation thread

Mayby update coming on 5th and stream with devs explaining everything about new update on 6th ?

 

Or maybe absolutely nothing of what you expect. Please become acquainted with this possibility before it's too late.

 

I am willing to bet that on Tuesday, we will get

 

It's pretty common for them to do some big reveals in the days before an update. IIRC we saw two or three videos of the D-Series prerunner in the week before release, there was a ton of D-Series facelift pics shown before that update, and a few times they've released one or two of the Devblog's videos a few days early. So it could be something like that, or just a normal teaser that the team is excited about. Or maybe it's just a 20' tall Rexy and only Leeloo is excited about it

 

I think it'll only be a teaser on Tuesday, as the Content Creator branch in SteamDB hasn't been updated yet, wouldn't give them enough time to record videos to release with the update

 

I know. It's just that having the full meat of an update is certainly something different from simply seeing/watching a teaser (which is also vastly appreciated because we're talking about creative skills). And expecting the full meat only to see/watch an appetizer is created from false expectations. That's what I say.

 

If I had to guess, this might be controversial but I'd say a lot of what we've seen won't be released until at least January, based solely on the sheer volume of content that's been revealed. Of course, there's every possibility that some of said content has been in development far longer than we've known about it, but it doesn't seem plausible to deliver it all within three months of the last major release. It's also possible that some of it will be released in time for the holidays and the rest will be delayed - for instance, the vehicles may be released before the map.

It's mostly trucks and off-road related content though, so I'm confident that it will be amazing no matter how long it takes. Also Leeloo wouldn't go out of her way to post as many teasers as humanly possible if we weren't likely to get a lot of that content in the near future

Mod speculation: someone will make an 8x8 Autobello if an official one isn't provided

 

this means it will be something extra good.

 

I really wonder what it could be, i guess it’ll be the Piccolina or the mystery gas station buggy at a yet unknown location on the new map anyways, so excited for it

Talking about the new map, where does it can be? Colorado, Nevada or South California?

Maybe some more of Texas but that's the idea.

 

For some reason I think they will either properly tease off-road Piccolina or reveal the new map. I am more leaning towards new map reveal as it is definitely "something awesome". Although, knowing developers, they have something exciting coming that we didn't get teased before and is quite unexpected.

 

I hope we see the buggy at an Area 51 spin-off (nevada confirmed) with a military 6x6 soft top autobello van in a hangar

 

Nevada isn’t confirmed necessarily but it’s definitely a possibility

 

The map is wrong, the entire area you circled is Texas

 

since there wasn't a teaser today, what do people think we will get for a teaser next Tuesday?

They will show us Gavril /Bruckwell Minivan. Or secound gen Piccolina it would be great
