last Thursday leeloo said she was busy so a big teaser was coming on Tuesday.

Yeah, it has to be something new (to us), there's no way it'll be another video only featuring a new car/truck that has already been revealed. A new feature is probably going to be it.

Hopefully tomorrow's teaser will be about a new feature rather than a new car, because if somehow after all they've shown they still have another car to show us then I wouldn't understand lol

 

leeloo should have more feature-based teasers rather than all vehicle teasers

 

My bet is the next teaser will be a shot of a sign next to a highway. It will say “welcome to…” revealing the location of the new map. On the highway, a car, blurry from speed, will be in the background. This is a remastered K series.

That’s another possibility, I didn’t think of that. I could see dirt build up and scratches as a big possibility given the off road focused nature of the update.

Everyone's so surprised by how many new cars there are, but I'm not surprised at all.

Last year, we got 3 new cars (Wendover, Wigeon, and Bastion), and 5 remasters (LeGran, Pigeon, Pessima (Gen 2), H-Series and Bolide), for a total of 8 pieces of major vehicle content.

This year so far we've only gotten 1 new car (Scintilla) and 1 remaster (Covet).

We have currently seen 3 upcoming cars (Autobello Van, Truck, and ATV) and 1 possible remaster (K-Series), alongside the "SBR buggy" which I'm not sure how to classify, same with the Piccobuggy.

Combining all of those comes out to 6-8 pieces of major vehicle content depending on how you classify the buggies. Based on last year, another piece of vehicle content could happen for all we know, so I wouldn't rule it out just yet.

Why all of this at once, you might ask? I have two possible explanations. The first is that all of this upcoming content was intended to come out throughout the year but took longer than anticipated. Another is that they intentionally waited to drop a ton of content at once alongside the new map for more impact. Both are pretty reasonable in my eyes.

 

very good point, in a "standard year" we would have 3-4 new cars by this time but we have only had 1 new car and 1 remaster, the covet, and the scintilla.
