Not yet! Are we there yet? Not yet! Are we there yet? Let’s play a game, right in the car, I forgot the rest of the lyrics…
We'll find out on March 24th, 2027. It's actually quite funny how [NOTHING HAPPENS ON THAT DAY] you'll definitely find it interesting when it comes. --- Post updated --- It isn't just a teezer. It's our lives on the line, and this singular teezer will be the main factor what happens on March 24th, 2027. There will be no minds on that day. I hope the teaser hype is just a massive joke and it's something like just a simple prop.
This mod made me actually use the bastion. The V8 noise in this game is incredibly underwhelming. This sound is a MASSIVE improvement!
Tbh, I like the existing V8 sound, it goes well with the Supercharger note at max boost on Savage mode in the Bastion Redtail. But there's no denying the fact that it's only suited to the 80s/90s/00s 4.5/5.5 Gavril V8s. All other American gasoline V8s in this game need different sounds.
Does anyone else want a Bolide V8 swapped into the trophy truck? Or buggy? Or van? Or mystery SBR thing? Or is it just me? I bet @SmokeyDokey does lol
I’ve just realized, what if Leeloo meant physically large when she said “big” last Thursday. What kind of interesting things could that mean? Maybe a heavy duty F-450 type version of the potentially existing Bruckell truck (Wild speculation here, incredibly unlikely to happen lol)
To be honest, I'm surprised the Scintilla's V10 hasn't been swapped into anything - it's the only engine of its type in-game, and it makes a lot of power and can fit into quite a few engine bays in this game - particularly the ETKs. Even if we don't get an official V10 for the K/800? remaster(s), it'd certainly be fun to get the Scintilla's V10 as an official aftermarket swap for one/both of those vehicles. However, I don't think that will happen, as so far, only V8s have been used as aftermarket swaps. Speaking of the K-Series, I wonder how significant its design changes will be. While the '96 Pessima, LeGran, H-Series, D-Series, and Roamer received fairly minor design and proportion changes in their remasters, the 800-Series received major reworking in its proportions back in 0.16, and the Bolide V2 looks quite different (especially from the rear) compared to the Bolide V1. The widebody kit teaser shows that the front fascia doesn't seem to have received many changes, but I'm not quite sure about the rear end. So far, the top-tier performance versions of the ETKs tend to get the TTSport or TTSport Evolution badging. Both the 800 and I-Series have TTSport versions, but while the K-Series' Kc6t(x) versions are TTSports in all but name, they don't receive the badge. That means that the TTSport K's will likely be V8-powered - but if the K's going to get the V8, what about the 800? Whereas the K's official thread says that it'll be receiving "bigger engines soon", the 800's doesn't - it just says that it has 4- and 6-cylinder engines. But it does say that the 800 is "currently available as a wagon". This kinda fits in line with the LeGran/Wendover relationship - the LeGran got an extra bodystyle (wagon), while the Wendover got a new engine (the 4.4L V8). The D-Series, Roamer, H-Series, and Bolide also received new bodystyles in their remasters. -D-Series got a long bed, the Charro/Kentarch, and upfits in its remasters -Roamer got an LXT version -H-Series got long-wheelbase, passenger, high-roof, and side-door versions -Bolide received a targa *Pigeon technically got a coupe version (as the Wigeon) *Covet MR could also maybe be called a new bodystyle; it's certainly a very different car from the basic Covet Perhaps a similar thing will happen with the K/800, where the K-Series will get the V8, but the 800 gets a new bodystyle (sedan? coupe? convertible? I know convertibles aren't much of a thing due to sound issues with the interior, but maybe those will be resolved with 0.27?). Maybe that's what we're getting as our Tuesday teaser tomorrow - a sedan version of the 800 Series, maybe with a new feature or two shown off if it's a video.
