Update Speculation thread

Are there any chances the update will come today? (Or later this week?)
I think it would make a lot of sense, giving time for a bigger bugfix and another vehicle or some treat right before Christmas. If it's not this week then next one is already the week before Christmas, not really leaving enough of a gap in middle to space out the updates, in which case there would not be much sense to have two.

 

personally i'd rather have a fully finished update with the van and everything, but the way they seem to be doing updates recently with a part 1 and 2 with part 2 having the second "main feature" of the update i'd rather they just dropped part 1 now

This update will hit harder than Little Boy or Fat Man.

 

Really no chance, creator branch wasn't updated yet, and they usually give the creator enough time to make videos of the new stuff (and given the amount of things teased, it wouldn't be a quick video)

 

for me they usually get posted at 9:00-12:00 est.

 

Not me reloading the forum every minute to see if we got a teaser.

I have a feeling that we might be getting pre release info on Autobello utility thing like we had with Vivace a while ago

 

Possibly… but I hope we get a teaser with dirt, scratches, tire marks, and tire thermals. (Yeah, not gonna happen)

There probably isn't going to be a teaser today, just saying. Throwaway lines from busy employees are not reliable sources, especially when talking about something fairly low on the priority list. They also have to make the actual marketing material for the update, minor pre-release reveals are not so important by comparison

Yes, a firetruck able to extinguish fire seems really unlikely. But a little European firetruck made to carry firefighters and their equipement that’s still a possibility (and if you look at the first teaser for the autobello truck, it’s that (just look at the Pinzgauer firetruck version, it’s extremely similar to the first trailer for the truck)

 

Most of the teasers seemed to be posted around 10:30-11:30 EST. We still have time.

Lelloo usually doesn't do throuaway lines tho, as she said, she likes to create caos with the teasers
