0.27 was probably worth it tho.

 

Fun fact, in BeamNG Drive San Francisco is Belasco City but Los Angeles is Los Angeles, ha ha. And to the devs this is a great job, the update is amazing, thanks for adding a new map after 4 years and for adding 5 new vehicles, you are a very good team and this game is very good, I've been playing since 2015 and I never imagined it would be like this one day, but anyway, BeamNG Drive is my favorite game, thank you so much, keep up the good work.

 

They mentioned at the bottom of the devblog that they weren't comfortable with attempting to predict when tire stuff would be available, they hit lots of roadblocks and know that it's going to take a long time. Almost certainly will not be out with 0.28.

 

Oh yes, Steam was being insanely slow to download the update, so now I have 5 minutes of playtime before leaving for work. Yey!

 

I think 0.28 would be a shift into modern life. That bus in the new map could possibly be a new vehicle and hopefully the ETK remasters could happen. And there should be time to pick out imperfections like openable doors that should be on every vehicle

 

Is FPU our first slavic car company?

 

Of course the team won't be sharing an ETA on tire thermals with us, but I wouldn't be surprised if once they internally have an ETA they try to time it with a tarmac racing content focused update. Not on the same scale as this update, but a dedicated race car and updates to the drag racing gameplay/existing content would pair well with tire thermals.

 

It’s polish, FPU stands for: Fabryka Pojazdów Użytkowych, which which means commercial (or utility) vehicles factory

 

A Dragster Tree? We getting a drag update next?

 

The devs probably made "FPU" polish for a reason. Maybe an eastern bloc van like the NYSA 522 or maybe something like the RAF-2203?

In the new 0.27 Apparently BeamNG devs decided to do a un-mentioned teaser of a new modern rv car. Heres proof.
