Looks like something weird is happening with the shading on the SBR4's front bumper.

QUESTION!? WHY and why do it? why produce a modification of "VIDRA" 4x4 with a cabin in which the doors should, but for obvious reasons not be opened? Wydra not only floats like a piece of polystyrene on the tip of a tire! so also this holtura with doors ... terribly infuriates, probably the only thing that really annoys at once at 0.27, remove this modification or finish it, reduce the buoyancy of the wheels in the water. at least to the level of the middle of the wheel, now it looks ridiculous, the car floats as soon as it enters a 20 cm puddle

It's just because the vehicle has 1 type of cabin, they. And I think in real life, constructor do the same has beamng, because don't change piece is really less expensive. So yes, beamng is right.

you seem to be joking? there are even triggers for opening doors from the outside and from the inside, but they do not work, you can at least remove them ... preferably with a handle texture! and be sure to do something with buoyancy!

Doors are just blocked by tires. And you miss beamng has transform 2 vehicles in 1.

Had some issues with my FFB but updating the BeamMP mod seemed to fix it along with a cleared cache. there was also some wierd UI bug with Johnson Valley's name and spawn location names in the menu selector (cache clearing and updating the BeamMP mod fixed it). Apart from that performance is solid and better than previous versions. The Stambecco is also my vehicle of choice (who doesn't want a allotment shed with wheels and questionable on road handling).

I think it's possible to go into freeroam after the mission is over and still have the vehicles spawned (unless in career mode). I will agree that it is quite annoying to not have freecam in missions.

However, what's not annoying is the new vehicle selector organization - finally, after almost 10 years, the vehicles are sorted by brand, then model, instead of just by model. And trucks are included with cars instead of shoved to the bottom of the selector! Makes it quite a bit easier for me to find which vehicle I want to drive.

However, the vehicles in said selector have a few issues that are still present in 0.27.1 with a cleared cache and no mods:

-The Autobuggy Extreme has a value of 1.1 million - apparently, it's made out of 24-karat gold.

-The Wydra and Rockbasher still don't have model years, body styles, or derby classes yet. (The Rockbasher also doesn't have values for the trims.)

-I'm not sure if the Dunekicker's very short run of 2008-2008 is intentional or not.

-The Covet JDM facelifts (Type-L, Type-LS, 15GTZ Turbo II) still have model years of 1986-1992 - the entire run of the regular Covet - even though they're meant to be facelifts. I think the facelifts should have model years of around 1990-1992, while the corresponding pre-facelift versions (15SE, 15ZXi, 15GTZ Turbo) could have model years of 1986-1989.

-The pre-facelift D25 V8 4WD Extended Cab Long Bed still has model years of 1985-1990 - unlike all the other pre-facelift versions, which have model years of 1986-1991.

-The Wigeon's model years seem to clash with the lore presented for it in the 0.23 devblog. The devblog says that the Wigeon came out "in the late-'80s", likely 1987 or so, but the model years for the Wigeon are 1980-1989 - the same as the Pigeon. I'm not sure if that was a mistake on the devblog or in-game.

-The LeGran wagon is listed as a sedan and the Stambecco trucks are listed as vans.

This is not a systemic issue, as the H-Series has multiple body styles listed (Van, Box Truck, Flatbed). The T-Series (Semi Truck, Flatbed, Box Truck, Dump Truck) and D-Series (Pickup, Flatbed, Box Truck) also have multiple body styles listed - maybe not quite as accurate as they could be (Box Truck for the cement mixer, Pickup for the Charros).

One thing that I noticed is of the SP dunekicker, if you equip the standard or NA intake, the intake has a supercharger model even though it is naturally aspirated.

The amount of optimization for Johnson Valley is insane. I don't think I've ever been able to get 50+ fps on the ultra graphics preset before -- and on the largest map no less.

    I have an unpopular opinion
I prefer the D-Series Prerunner more than the dunekicker

I gotta be honest. Im a little disappointed that the map is 10km squared with the asterisk that only a small section is a square that you can drive into, i expected to have something to drive around across the entire length of the long highway, but i guess beggars cant be choosers.

Has anyone else also noticed floating point shaking in the map? I thought the game physics ran in 64 bits, but considering the size of the map it feels like 32 bit calculations.

I actually haven't noticed any, but considering that I regularly use modded megamaps it's possible that I'm just used to small amounts of it.

As far as I can tell Johnson Valley is actually smaller than Italy. Italy is 4x4km, or 16km^2. Johnson Valley is 10km^2, which is roughly 3.16x3.16km, likely not including the highways running off the ends of the main map. So I'm not sure why you'd have floating point jitters on JV but not Italy.
