    I'm aware of that - it's practically a Bond Bug analogue.

    However, these are the exact words from the 0.23 devblog (emphasis mine):

    However, from the in-game years, it looks like the Pigeon and Wigeon were released together in 1980. I'm not sure which one is right.

    Is it me or the vehicles feel much more sturdy and crumple less, maybe it's just the new ones IDK

    Technically the map is the same size like Italy. 4096 x 4096 with a scale of 0.75 resulting to 3.072 square kilometers to get higher details in the terrain like washed out ruts on the off-road trails. Perhaps the scaling does some floating point jitter. But I didn’t recognize it yet.

    The new ones really are much sturdier, I mean 3 of them are just roll cages on wheels and the Stambecco is really tough + aircooled and engine in the middle so it's very hard to damage in a head-on collision, and the Wydra just can't go fast enough to crash with a lot of damage lol

    In tuning menu tire and boost pressure units are show as PSI while i have them set to BAR in settings.

    The units don't affect the tuning section, you are not meant to do any precise calculations with the tuning anyway, just test what works best by trial and error

    ISSUE REPORT:

    Environmental Temperature on Johnson Valley feels to low:
    Environmental Temperature on Johnson Valley goes from 9.7 degree Celsius to a maximum of 22 degree Celsius. This feels much colder than the desert environment would suggest.

    One would expect at least Utah levels of temperature, possibly more.


    It is still somewhat funny how you can change most units in the game, but tuning units stay the same:rolleyes:

    hi, I have no option to enable advanced post fx settings, I have postfx in custom but still no options appear. only 1 button to reset postfx settings. does anyone have this problem?

    Thumbnail generator is broken AGAIN, the 'new' one that opens in showroom doesn't even show up, the other one generates 1 thumbnail properly and then starts taking thumbnails of random vehicles that weren't selected for a few seconds before crashing the game
    Also 0.27.1 removed the work.json file for no reason

    I’m having the same issue, did the caravan one and then every time I clicked start mission on another one the radial menu comes up and I can’t start. Any ideas how to solve this?

    Automated testing is broken, AI doesn't set the state of diffs, shafts and rangeboxes anymore, on offroad testing drives by the left wall and reaches max offroad score, and the speed testing just ends instantly thinking the vehicle is not fast enough for testing

    In fact, isn't optimization the most serious problem? The minimum spec for the previous update was 8GB of RAM, but the update doubled it. The BeamNG team needs to address this issue.

    Ok so I have come across a new bug with the entire bloom thing.
    I'm working on my light bars, and thought the bloom thing was doing wonders, when it didn't really.

    It only works on lights that are either not covered, or covered by glass that has a colour within grayscale colours, so white to dark grey as far as I've tested it now.
    Giving the glass a colour, such as blue, makes bloom not pass for some reason.

    On the left you can see the 3 dots, grey glass, high opacity; on the right, same thing, same colours (except the main lights), blue glass, lower opacity to make the blue actually show.

    I then changed the entire texture of the glass to a grey, and added a baseColorFactor (taken from the vanilla material file from the light bar glass), and it had the same issue.


    Meaning, that bloom does not pass coloured glass.


    I then went ahead to see, if the vanilla light bar does look any different, and nope, it doesn't.

    The only thing they changed is the emissiveFactor of the lights to make them brighter, which didn't resolve the bloom issue tho.

    Figured, I'd try in safe mode, same issue.

    And here you can clearly see it.

    TL;DR
    Bloom doesn't pass coloured glass; only grey-ish glass or glass with high opacity does let bloom pass

    In firefighter Stambecco store boxes should be higher. Right now side roll-up doors are somewhat useless. Not to mention we can see from inside that these doors don't work anyway.

    Suggestion for modernized firetruck. I would add bigger side roll-up doors in modernized version or in older version remove them (or paint them red).

    Also soft top frame should be detachable when broken. Right now it's possible to catch something and very easily stretch whole thing.

    on the new map on the autobahn, when playing with traffic in some places, fps from 50 to 60 fps subsides to 20 to 25 and after passing this section it becomes 50 to 60 again, although in those places there are no large objects that could cause this and the map without cars goes to 100 fps when the rest are large at 60

    I assume you are the same guy who said on reddit that they prefer the prerunner because it absorbs better big jumps, right?
    If so, here's a little comparison for you: both trucks, falling from the same height (40 units in the WE) on GSP.

    A few things I like more about the D-Series is that I like how much more tight the handling feels in bad circumstances
    I can pull the D-Series out of a slide easier than the SP
    Maybe I have more driving experience in the D-Series than the SP
    Also, I don't have Reddit

    Edit: I also like the customizability of the D-Series
