    Happens to me on the south end of the highway, specially when looking at the interior cam.

    The floating points are on the southern highway end specifically, not in the map square itself.

    Kinda sucks that the map not counting the highway is smaller than italy, but god damn it it looks so good.

    +1, the gas station and base camp both tank my framerate from 100-110 fps to 50-60 fps when driving along the highway, and to 30-40 fps when driving through them.

    For the hotlapping AI will there be further development at any capacity on it? i appreciate being able to set up a small race on the nurburgring with the AI being aggressive but they don;t deviate from the line ever and just plow through me so its hard to actually overtake or racethem

    In total agreement here. It would be nice to separate the drop player at camera system into one as it is now (where the vehicle is standing still when it teleports and faces the direction of the camera) and one that worked like the old system (retaining the vehicle's direction and velocity) or have it as a gameplay option.

    I run and film pure-AI races and I constantly need to teleport the AI drivers so they don't drive into traffic after a spin, or to simulate a driver taking evasive action for a spin. I need them to retain their speed and direction of travel.

    you can use the old system with shift+f7 i believe, or ctrl

    I know this thread is usually about reporting bugs, but I can't right now, honestly, I'm speechless. This update... I haven't even really tried out the new cars, I just loaded into Johnson Valley, enabled AI cars, and set out to drive... Now, I have seen Videos, but I've never been to Southern California. It's literally tens of thousands of kilometers away from my house. However, I think I now know what it feels like to drive fast in an old American muscle car on a forgotten California highway. For a minute it felt like I'm actually there.
    Thanks for that experience, it was truly awesome.

    When the ignition is off, non of the lights work you would also find that the full gage would show as empty.
    When it's on accessories only I'm pretty sure the light works but the car won't start.
    When the ignition is on you need to press the explanator keyboard function to start the car

    Absolutely love the new update.
    As a suggestion for another update thought BeamNG should look at the water physics. I think it would be cool to have cars that float for a bit before sinking.
    What do you guys think?

    Does anyone else not like the new rangebox setup or just me? I very much preferred the High/Low and the 2wd/4wd being separate instead of all combined into 2Hi/4Hi/4Low. Much easier to get to 2wd from 4Hi without going through low range in the old setup, especially at speed

    On the new map once you turn left towards the long highway and begin driving on it does anyone else suffer massive lag?
    I even tried low settings and the big high speed run just lags like crazy, iv ran this game on ultra on all maps with mods and without and never had this issue
    once i go onto a different map im all good but so weird of this new one to only have this issue on the highway speed run section.

    Also as Andrew said above the hotlapping will it be improved and can the ai be changed to be more risky in racing etc?

    Since the 0.27.1 hotfix, have you guys noticed any more invisible car bugs, especially getting out of vehicles into walking mode or switching vehicles? I haven't been able to replicate these bugs myself.

    The instructions for the River Crawl scenario could be reworded a bit. It simultaneously claims the goal is to get the most and the least number of points. The "star" goals are also missing point values.

    The scenario also resets as soon as it begins. "3... 2... 1... Go! immediate reset"

    I haven't used traffic yet but I have used walking mode a few times and so far I haven't experienced it again

    I have discovered one more nitpick, which is actually a 0.26 nitpick but I only just discovered it now.

    The Covet MR-Turbo's 15x8 front wheels can be installed on either end of another car, but the 15x10 rears are rear-only on everything. This is annoying because the 15x10 rear version is one of the few 4-lug wheels that can fill out an early Pessima's widebody fenders without having to adjust track width manually (because Spacers are Bad, M'kay).

    The Autobello 14x9s also work as far as offset goes, but upon closer inspection they clip through the GTz brake calipers.

    Yes, I'm a nerd about this kind of thing. It would probably work better to just use the 5-lug hubs and see what fits there, but still.

    Ours is not a sherp, it's massively different, esp in weight. The two are not really that much comparable.
