WIP Beta released Volvo 240

Remember when they said it would be out around last christmas? Just give it time.

It was once talked about if i remember correctly. It was gonna be something like the jargl 240 or something.

 

YAY!

 

I must ask... why base it on the legran of all jbeams you couldve chose from lol. Most certainly one of the less mechanically similar vehicles ingame atm.

 

perhaps mechanically dissimilar, but the legran includes both a wagon and a sedan variant like our volvo 240 and the suspenion and shape of the vehicle was almost a perfect match.

 

I suppose that makes sense.

 

Also, images of the remastered interior for the 240 should be out sometime soon. I just finished modeling the new interior, gotta uv unwrap it and texture it now

 

Originally it was based on the ETK I series, but I switched because, 1: The jbeam is almost perfect and it includes a wagon variant. 2: It has a lot more mod-parts that I can adapt to the Volvo 240. 3: The ETK had less color customization and worse materials. The LeGran was more efficient. Hope this helps!

Yeah, we are still deciding on a name. For the forums, it will probably just be a Volvo. For the repo, I don't know yet.

Since Volvo means "Im rolling" in latin the name could be related to rolling or something

Maybe the repo name could be Jargl 420 since Jargl is the Swedish brand in beam lore and funny number that is like 240.

 

Maybe 235 or something instead of 420, because i feel like that'd kinda show that this is an internet mod car and not feel like a real car...

 

I had no idea Volvo was in the lore, thats sick

 

That is already the name they were originally going to go with. This name is likely not gonna be chosen.
