I've been trying to adapt the cb-40 body but it just keeps falling off & I have no clue why, I'm not really that good.
Sorry, for one it doesn't really fit well being that the cab isn't the proper size nor is it cut in the back & second, I don't have permission.
Hi. I just created a user account to give you feedback on a few bugs I found with this great mod. Sorry if someone else already reported those (I didn't read all of the last 56 pages of this thread ): When using the Stage 3 or Stage 4 Variable Boost Turbocharger with the 7.1l Diesel engine, togehter with the 6 or 7 speed manual transmission, both the first gear and reverse gear don't work. The Diesel muffler is clipping through the drive shaft (at least with configs such as the Semi Truck) The Navigation Unit is stuck in the dashboard. Some of these issues could also be the result of the quite large number of mods I use, but I wanted to share them with you just in case. Thanks for this amazing mod.
OK, thanks And, when crashed, The headlights still light up, even though being broken. Its like their invincible
1: Thanks for that report, it looks like the clutch slip point with the racing ecu is way too high, I'll address that 2: Yes I'm aware of this, I decided to leave it as is as the diesel muffler will get an update in shape which will make it clear the driveshaft 3: Thanks for that as well, it will be a simple fix. Thank you overall for a detailed report! Gone to some effort especially as a first time poster on the forum which most dont bother to do despite being around for several years lol I'm assuming that's on the big hood, which will be fixed
No problem! Although I have to admit, I have had the game for quite a long time now and thought about giving feedback on mods several times. But I always hesitate with creating a user account on yet another website. Anyway ... There are a few other things I noticed that aren't really bugs but which make me wonder: Is the Heavy Duty Diesel Radiator strong enough? I ask because I noticed how fast the semi truck overheats with a moderate load (say 8 to 12 tons) or going uphill. I like driving trucks uphill on the Pikes Peak map mod, and the standard semi config ... lets say it doesn't get far . I have to use the Ultra Heavy Duty Diesel Radiator to get to the top, but that one is also just barely enough. I noticed there is a shift knob for a 9 speed manual transmission. Will there be such a transmission in the future? (Pikes Peak longs for more gears you could say ) Will a fuel tank on the right side be added? I ask because a Step on the left side can be chosen already, which would of course only result in a working vehicle if there could be a fuel tank on the right side . Can the hoods be opened? I noticed that the Hinged Utility Bull Bar can be tilted, which I assume is for being able to open the hood in reality.
1: The heavy duty radiator isn't more powerful, it's more durable to impact, however I can tweak it's effectiveness 2: Yep, when I get my wheel and my H-shifter, I'll add range transmissions that are compatible with wheels and those that also work as regular gearboxes for keyboard/controller users 3: Could be added, you can remove the left side one to put a chassis fueltank on the C45 and C55's 4: Not yet, I haven't been able to figure out the couplers for it but since then I've fiddled with them more and they could be arriving Not sure what this is about as the cab jbeam is directly off of the pickup
Are you going to have improvements with the axles and do like Airbags for the C65 Commercial Chassis?
Will the utility body upfit eventually be part of the base mod? Or will it be part of the paid pack? I read the main page but still not totally clear on that. Great mod BTW!
I don't remember seeing this anywhere but I could be wrong. I was messing around making a skin & noticed a couple of things: The Gen 3 hood uv seems to be missing a section (black part of the fender). The main uv also doesn't seem to cover the entire back part of the crew cab If I try to extend the parts myself it looks off (lighter section).
The hood fender part is UV mapped, just not reflected in the template. It is here on the right side and same place but on the top for the other side: Also the body UV's are directly off of the D series. It also doesn't include the crew cab: I guess this "dev quality" thing everyone is talking about is the fact that my UV's cover substantially more parts of the vehicle than official UV's
Not even sure how I missed that fender part, thank you. As for the crew cab, it doesn't look all that bad I suppose, just figured I'd point it out.
