    Gavril H-Series Euro Pack
Hey there, my name's Mitch and I am currently working on a small engine pack (maybe some cosmetic differences as well if someone can help me with that) for the H-Series.

This will be my 1st ever Config Pack/Mod/Whatever you wanna call it so suggestions are appreciated.
(I will refer to it as a pack)

As of current, there are 2 main engine types for this pack:
    A Diesel Inline 4
    A Petrol/Gasoline Inline 6

    Some lore behind this:
When Gavril wanted to expand into the European market with the H-Series, they needed to change up the engines a bit to meet the new Emissions Standards being brought in (known as EURO standards).
3 years in the making, they came up with a small, powerful Diesel Inline 4 engine, which they dubbed the HL Series. Originally, this was a 2 litre turbocharged engine which was updated in 2000 to a 2.2 litre engine.
With the facelift in 2005, they got ETK involved with the turbochargers for the HL series and Gavril brought over the H45 variants after demand grew, but they needed a different engine to cope with the loads that the H45 would be taking.
ETK and Gavril came up with the DL series, a 2.8 litre Petrol/Gasoline N/A Inline 6 which was heavily praised for it's reliability and ability to pull heavy loads (and was particularly favoured by tow truck drivers).

With each new EURO standard brought on more challenges for the HL series engines, until eventually Gavril made the decision to axe the H-Series in Europe after the 2017 model year.

There are 3 trim levels available:
Cardinal - The basic trim, RWD with a High Top option available, Grey Interior, Steel Wheels and Plastic Trim
Layman - The middle trim, RWD or AWD, LWB and High Top option, along with either a Grey or Ivory Interior, Alloy or Steel wheels (upgraded steel ones after the facelift) and Body Coloured Trim
Element - The Top Trim with either RWD, AWD or 4WD, Black with Ebony Wood or Beige with Cherry Wood Interior, Alloy Wheels, and Body Coloured Trim and Bumpers.

As of current, there are 5 variants for the HL series, and 2 variants of the DL series each corresponding to their EURO standard and year (and here's some background as well):

Diesel Inline 4 – Gavril HL Series

    HLA – 203bhp, EURO 1, 1993 – 1995 (The most reliable 2.0 Block, very smoky however)
HLJ – 196bhp, EURO 2, 1996 – 1999 (Introduction of Catalytic Converter but known for blowing turbos)
HLP – 170bhp, EURO 3, 2000 – 2005 (Introduction of 2.2 Block and EGR System. These are known for being underpowered and blowing conrods)
HLT – 195bhp, EURO 4/5, 2006 – 2009 (By far the best 2.2 Block. Integrated a Diesel Particulate Filter. This is when the ETK Turbochargers were introduced)
HLZ – 220bhp, EURO 6, 2015 – 2017 (An updated version of the HLT engine to meet new standards, however they were known to have Diesel Runaway scenarios. AdBlue was added on these models which was also known to be faulty).
[Please note the RK mod does not have DPF's or AdBlue systems, these are just mentioned as this is when they became mandatory in EURO emissions for diesels]
[29/01/23 - UPDATE: As of the latest RK Engine Pack update it now includes DPF's and AdBlue Systems]

Petrol Inline 6 – ETK DL Series

DLK – 314bhp, EURO 4, 2005 – 2009 (As mentioned, the market was surprised with how capable the DL engine was, therefore it was praised heavily)
DLZ – 329bhp, EURO 5/6, 2010 – 2017 (Added Direct Injection to the 2.8 block, still regarded as reliable as the DLK's but have issues with timing chains snapping)

PLEASE NOTE THIS PACK RELIES ON RK'S CUSTOMIZABLE ENGINES MOD
I have permission from @R4NKING to use his mod for my pack.

Some of the configs so far:

Off-Road (HLT Engine, modified to have 454bhp)

Adding a bit more on from what I left out to try condense the original post:
The HLA & HLJ engines came with a 5 speed manual transmission ONLY.
When the HLP was introduced, a 6 speed automatic was also introduced which ran alongside the 5 speed manual until discontinuation.

The DLK and DLZ only came with a 6 speed automatic transmission, however all of them were available with a rear locking diff as standard.

Posting a small update on progress:
So far, I have most of the H15 Cardinal configurations complete as well as the Drift and Off-Road configs.

I am wanting someone who has experience in Beam.NG modelling/coding to help me create some euro style lights, a cassette radio for the older vans and also for the manual transmission ones to remove the PRND21 tree on the dashboard (as it makes no sense to have this on the manual versions).

In the meantime, here's another configuration:
H45 Chassis Cab (Cardinal Trim, DLK Engine)

(Note that the License Plate is a UK style one, this WILL NOT be included in the final version unless a RHD version is made, and I have permission from the creator of the UK Plates mod)

    Small Update:
Hope you all had a good Christmas, I'm going to start working on the pack again after the new year, as after all this time of the year is for seeing family and celebrating!
I am making a start on the Layman configurations as well as the H25 configs, there's a lot to do atm so it could take some time as I will be back at work/college after the new year. Maybe the pack will be released around February time (then again things could change so don't quote me on that ).

Have a great new year and I'll post an update soon!

Been a while, but don't worry the pack isn't cancelled (unlike BlackPanthaa's midnight club series), I've been struggling a bit balancing work, college and free time.
RK's engine mod has updated, and within that it has brought DPF's, Catalytic Converters and AdBlue systems so these can actually be added into the engines!
That also means updating the current configs I have as well (oof) when I find time (most likely half term so mid February) but rest assured progress will be made.
Again, thanks to RK for adding these in, just adds a bit more realism to the pack.

Here's another Config, my Personal one consisting of a HLT H25 Layman, with the Alloys, High Top, LWB and AWD option (so fully kitted).

Hey bro, any update status on the EU H-series now? It looks great!

If I'm really bumping this, I sincerely apologize.

At the moment, no. I'm too busy with work and college to continue working on the pack atm. Sorry :(
