Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet Awesome mod bro, just one thing, the car spawns without a transmission, thus wont drive until you select one.
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet Use the bottom two Configs Covet 1.6L Turbo Rally Road Race Setup Alt [M] and Covet 1.6L Turbo Rally (Manual)
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet Nice car ! Downloading now... Are you just modified it? Sorry for my bad english
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet Well I only modified [a lot] it with a new engine with proper rally torque curve and such [like brakes, transmission suspention, sway bars ect] didn't model them properly however.. but I gave credits where needed. Edit I have to go now but I did do the engine model really well in my opinion for no normal maps.
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet hehe until now i just solved it by manually adding the transmission with the parts menu, but yours works too
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet gotta love the 100 downloads and 1 thanks. /= thank you back Ownernator11.
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet - Status Update Fixed Bugs -Parts selection clusterfuck text -No Transmission on first config Further Bugs -Default spawns without suspension and diff - - - Updated - - - Version 1.0 Release
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet - Status Update Can't you just modify defult settings so i fixes the 2 bugs?
Re: Slayer's Ultimate Rally Covet - Status Update I had to dive into about 4-6 different jbeam files to change it so you don't need a special "default.pc" For some using the expiremental builds it's also an annoyance.
This thing is awesome! Just one thing. It seems to slide around a lot more than other vehicles in the game?
This may be, but rally cars are made to more or less literally drift in dirt, but the reason is because by default the rear sway bar on all of them is stiff because that is my preference, just go in the parts and change the rear sway bar to medium or soft. Edit [Just in-case]: To use the experimental part select click the box in the upper right corner of the screen, click the wip part config thing, next click the part you'd like to change than use the arrow keys to actually select things within a drop down menu. Are you playing on keyboard btw? Just wondering?
This isn't the place to post that, plus to save, you do you're setup in the new one than go to the old one to save.
Than yeah, replacing the rear sway bar with a softer one should cure the issue, and maybe opt for a more open rear differential found under the "engine" section.
