All the main jbeam structure is now done except the spare wheel, seats, and other small details. It's 45kg lighter than the real kerb weight of ~965kg, which would be about right since the seats weigh 15kg each. As I look up the weights of all the panels I'm coming across so many lightweight alternatives and learning how much weight I could shave off my real miata. Just the standard doors weigh 20kg each.
This could be renamed as an earlier generation CCF2, if the author of that lets you. The lore of both mods will make more sense.
I think it would be great if this became a CCF2, but I think if you really wanted to sell the CCF2-ness, you'd have to switch to flat engines. If you want to keep the inline engines, I think this could make a great Ibishu, especially because to properly be a CCF2, it should probably be a somewhat custom design rather than an exact copy of an IRL Miata. I personally just don't think that rebranding a real vehicle without making at least some changes is the way to go for BeamNG modding.
This will be better then those boring Ibishus like the Signia and that Ibishu Claria and those shitty meshslaps on Modland or any bootleg website. Anyways i like both mods and i will enjoy this mod when its released! Will it be free or paid? Will there be a config based out of Mia and Tia from Cars?
