    Hello,

    I wanted to change the mods folder directory from C drive (in my documents) to some other place on D drive.

    Any suggestions?

    sure:

    a) open the file "BeamNG.drive.ini" with a text editor
    b) change this:

    Code:
    $Engine::FS::UserPath = "";

    to sth like this:

    Code:
    $Engine::FS::UserPath = "d:\beamng\myFolder";

    because his c drive is getting full???
    because he wants to keep the mods in a folder closer to the game directory???

    okay... that wouldn't change the mod directory located in the *Documents\BeamNG.drive\ folder, so good job?

    i'll never understand why people post in the support section to be purposely unhelpful

    Thank you tDev. My C drive keeps getting full because it is a combination of 2 SSD's running in Raid 0.

    Well, sorry for double post, but I changed the directory to where my new mods folder is and mods are not appearing in game. Do they have to be in zip format?

    Yeah. They need to be in the .ZIP format.
    It's simple to do yourself considering if it's a vehicle it just needs to be something of
    ZIPROOT\vehicles\NameOfVehicle\*VehicleFiles*
    To work.
