Good work! If you keep it up, you will get much better! Not many have the patience and determination to learn how to make a mod with no prior experience, so if you can do it it will be very impressive.
I worked on the seat and it looks less weird!! The only thing I am concerned about is the JBEAM part of this process. @Pawshore said he'd help me, but I don't really want to pawn that all off on him. I really want to learn how to do it, but I don't know how.
The way I learned to do it was to try it out. My first few attempts were awful, but as I practiced more and looked at vanilla vehicles for reference I gradually got better. I did have to remake the JBeam multiple times, and the current JBeam for the gen 6 is definitely not up to my current standards, but that is all part of the learning process. You just need to do it.
I finished the steering system!!! All that is left is to put tires on it, and then start working on the JBEAM!!! --- Post updated --- The tires are on!!
The tires are on!! Please don't curse. I am waaaaaayyyy ahead of any schedule that I could have imagined.
I have started working on the body!!! The truck really is starting to look near completion!!! --- Post updated --- The rear of the truck is finished!!!!
Thanks!! I'll have to finish the body tomorrow, but for my first-time modelling one, it looks pretty good!!
HAHAHAH!! Well, it takes a lot of practice. I actually didn't know how to use it until I decided to start this project.
You're making incredible progress on this, wow. I'm excited to see what it'll become! One thing to note is that the wheels are considerably small compared to the truck. Will they actually be that size or are they just there for general modelling?
