I got the email from gumroad clicked go to library, tried logging in but says an account with this email does not exist yet that very email was sent to inform me about the new update? (EDIT) clicking view content in my email allowed me to get the newest update kinda weird.
The new lights are really cool. Some things I noticed: the roof scoop has no holes, which defies its purpose, I don't know if there's a reason for that? And the Stage 1 and 2 turbos, especially the stage 2, make a very high pitched whistle in first person mode, it's really unbearable to me, and I think it's more of a sound glitch that anything, has anyone else noticed that?
It's been covered before, but you need to create an account using that same address, and then it'll all work as expected.
sorry to bother you with this request, but could you please make a colarble front and rear bumpers, not the GTI one, only for the normal spec cars as an options, thanks!...
I am truly in love with this little Boi! I have some small suggestions collected here: Black Interior Option (for a more sporty look) Make Exhausts change Power Output (it just gets louder mostly) Yellow fog lights for the French Bois More difference for the Kit Car Bumper (more aggressive styling, ducts or diffusor) Headlight blanks as for the Covet Painted Trim Pieces for Bumper and Sides (as there are painted and plastic side mirrors) Unpainted Version of the rear spoiler (like those foam things the aftermarket had to offer) Lightweight Glass (Polymere or something) (would be cool if this option would also remove rear wiper and heating stripes) Aluminium Hood and Fenders for lightweight but still painted appearance As a car person that is fairly familiar with the cars of that era and after talking about it with some equally acquainted friends I only can critize the Power Output of some engines. While the Diesel is fine, the 1.3 with its massive 93 HP even in the suggestively economy minded City Option is like waaay too much. The 1.3 Power Output rather suits the 1.6, although it is high even for a 1.6 to have 116 horsepower in the early to mid 90s. The fact that the GTi only has 4 HP more than the normal 1.6 in the Dune variant is also supplying this confusion of mine even more. All the Units drive and sound great, but in their stock configuration would deliver greatly improved realism both in handling and the lore behind the certain models if those power figures be adjusted with real counterparts in mind. Also I found the Windscreen really strange now that I came a bit more familiar with the car, I notice a big and comparatively low resolution ring wrapping around the whole glassarea. Although this is a common occurrence in cars, this would certainly not be as visible from the inside as it is here. There are almost 4 centimeters of black on both sides. The black area around the mirror is also fairly large and seems a bit overdone. The Screenshot shows this well I think. Compare this to a Citroen AX or the 106 itself for example: There is a thin line around the windshield as with any car but the rear view mirror for example sits freely (which does not mean it has to be represented in the game but is just a suggestion towards slimming down the edge allaround) My greatest Respect for all the awesome work so far, I will surely continue to enjoy this car and leave a spare euro every now and then for your ongoing effort of improving this little runabout even further! Greetings from Germany
I am very much aware of the fact, that there was a 1.3 Rallye Version Motor but I as well very much doubt that such an engine would be fitted to a Version called City and would be sporting the description: "Commuter Base Model,..." I hope you understand my point of view. If there'd be a sporty Version, like the 106 Rallye, Steel Wheels, painted Trim, Black Interior, Sport Tires and all those goodies it might as well have 98 HP. But a normal compression 1.3 Liter without a top speed of 190 km/h and a 0-100 of only 10.3 sec would be somewhere around 55 to 75 HP, depending on the type of injection, components and intake. The Ford Fiesta 1.25 had 75 HP The Suzuki Swift EA 1.3 had 68 HP The VW Golf MK3 1.4 had 55 to 60 HP The Toyota Corolla E10 1.4 had 88 HP The Honda Civic 1.4 had 75 HP The Renault Clio Phase I 1.2 had 58 HP The Renault Clio Phase I 1.4 had 75 HP The Opel Corsa B 1.4 had 60 HP (16V Sport Version had 90 HP, not a commuter base version) The Citroen AX 1.4i had 75 HP (which was a sporty model later in the Saxo, already having fender flares and was the upmost trim level, not a base commuter car) EDIT: The Fact that the 1.3 in the Picnic is only a SOHC Engine makes the point perfectly clear that this engines makes almost 100% too much power. Don't wanna list more examples, I think this should suffice! To sum up: Just because there is an engine making this much power in such a small car does not mean that it should be matched to an economically reasonable commuter version or any base model. Would make a great foundation for another Rallye Version which would not have 200HP but rather something like 120-150 HP and a lightweight interior, flares, Sport Tires and Strutbar and stuff. Take Care!
