Hey all, just wondering about the new imgui vehicle editor. What's the intended workflow? So far I've been mostly using it for the node picker feature, and it's inconvenient having to close out of it and the world editor every time I want to make a part change, then have to reopen the world editor and search and open the vehicle editor. I'm sure I could make some shortcuts to this with Lua, I was just wondering if I'd missed anything.
As far as I can tell the editor is not finished and it's just a preview for now, will receive better functionalities later and I'm sure it will include being able to change parts. It still has some incredibly useful features though. Most people I talked with don't include it as a part of their normal workflow, they use various third party tools instead, or do everything by hand.
So they use tools like NodeBeamEditor and Notepad++? When it's fully released, What will it be like? Which are the useful features?
1. Most people just use a text editor (Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code work pretty well) 2. How could he know? 3. Crurently the vehicle editor includes a few useful features like a Flexbody debug tool, Lights/Props debug tool, a Prop Transform tool, and some other generic stuff like aero, powertrain, and vehicle data debug tools
Keep in mind this isn't a "Vehicle Maker", it's a Vehicle Editor. It's very limited and only has a few debug and help tools.
