If someone here played Driver San Francisco then I think great way to do missions with Ambulances is mission where you need to escort Ambulance but instead destroying cars on way of Ambulance we should drive as fast as we can with time limit and BMP going down when u drive slowly and going up when u drive fast and doing jumps, drifts. Perfect score will be stable condition where you drive fast but not bumping BMP and driving slow when you not losing BMP. What I wrote is like Crazy Taxi (i know XD) but it can be realistic. Spoiler For someone who not played Driver SF (of course spoilers): 5. I would love to see Low-Riders Dance missions. We already have working Low-Riders so it crossed devs minds when they created them. I think it can't be that hard to implement but why we don't have that function already ? For now there is no music in game so... Also if they implement someones music then licensing stuff and in future expiring licenses. If we want that function in game we should look on end of Early Access and 1.0 release probably.
They clearly have a license plate molding, but it is a bit too small to fit a license plate so idk what is the purpose of it
That may well be the biggest bane of scenario/mission design. Nearly every challenge will boil down to either 'drive here' or 'drive fast along here'.* I have thought of a fun mechanic for how taxi missions could be made unique: the player's base score is determined by the distance they drive to the destination, but passengers offer a bonus multiplier if they are dropped off inside of a certain time limit. In other words, the player is incentivized to get the passenger to the destination within the time limit, using the longest possible route to maximize their score. Map knowledge and clever use of shortcuts/alternate routes are needed to expertly sap the customer *I did experiment with an ambulance mission that has you step out of the ambulance and move the stretcher close to a car wreck to 'load' the passenger. But, as you might guess, it was finicky at best.
On the note of making taxi route scores more involved: Ever since bus routes came out I've been hoping to see a passenger comfort modifier, complete with wilhelm screams for if that value ever gets too low.
I saw a reference to Kerosene... As far as I am aware, we don't have anything powered by this type of fuel, so I find this quite interesting. If it is something new, then we are likely to see new vehicles/engines that could use it as a fuel.
And, of course, we can't forget about the alleged V8 swap the BX was going to get - hopefully, it gets that in its remaster, whenever that happens. The BX is one of four vehicles - and the only passenger car - to not have multiple engines, along with the Wydra, T-Series, and DT40L. That stands out quite a lot when every other vehicle has at least 2 engines to choose from, with some having 5 or 6 engines. For an analogue of the S13, one of the most-modified vehicles in history, that's even more bizarre. The side doors for the H-Series happened in its remaster - there've been plenty of modded V8 swaps for the BX. It can't be that difficult to add an official V8 swap for that car, especially when we now have two different V8 engine families already in the common folder (the modern Bruckell V8 and the modern Gavril V8). The '96 Pessima, Bastion, and/or LeGran V6s could also work if a V8 won't fit. Speaking of more power, the 200BX is so far the only non-BOF Ibishu to not receive a GTZ variant, which is quite strange, IMO. Both the '88 Pessima and Covet get turbo factory versions, too - one for the former, four for the latter. Even the '96 Pessima has more powerful non-performance factory versions than the BX. And the BX currently uses JDM-style names for its mid-trim and high-end versions, which is another thing it doesn't share with the other USDM Ibishu passenger cars of its era. If the BX gets JDM versions in its remaster, perhaps the Type-L and Type-LS trims will be used for that market, much like with the Covet's JDM facelift versions. That would be a decent way to save a bit of development time for those versions.
Some furious Googling shows that some JATO solutions used kerosene/RP1, and steam cars from the early 20th century may have used it as fuel as well. That's all I can find with regards to current/proposed content, but it's most likely for mod support purposes.
The devs said it was supposed to be the Gavril 4.5 IIRC but i hope it gets the Bastion's V8 instead, the more aggressive sound and the twin turbos would fit better with the vibe of the 200BX
I believe it was for the 4.5, that and the Bolide's were the only V8s in game at the time. I doubt the Bastion's V8 would fit without an entire caged front end, that thing is physically massive
Speaking of license plates I also noticed that the semi trailers don’t have a license plate design slot, although the smaller trailers do. Not sure if this was just an accidental oversight by the devs, cause I’m not sure of any reason for it to be intentional although either way I would appreciate if they could be added. I feel like heavy equipment themed update would probably also bring a T-series remaster. Trucks and heavy equipment or frequently associated.
Yeah, it would've been the 4.5 - the V8 swap was discussed way back in 2013-2014, and the 5.5L Gavril V8 didn't come out until July 22, 2016, with the 0.6 update. And if the Bastion's V8 can't fit without a caged front end, that's fine - caged front ends are fairly common on S-chassis IRL, and it would also make engine swap mods or different front ends a whole lot easier with more space and a stiffer structure. Also, the Moonhawk V8's existed since 2013 - although you are right that we didn't have very many V8s for a long time. The next all-new V8 after the Moonhawk's was the Barstow's three V8s on October 31, 2015 - more than two years later. After that came the Burnside's Turbo-Fleet V8, the Gavril 5.5L V8, the Burnside's Megathrust V8, the Gavril 6.0L diesel V8, the modern Gavril 6.9L V8, the Wendover's 4.4L V8, and the Bastion's 5.7L and 6.5L V8s.
Why do I keep forgetting about the Moonhawk, that's the second time in my recent couple of posts... I even talk about that car a fair bit too...
