Hey Guys! Let me just start by saying I realize this vehicle is in an extremely early alpha build. I'm getting extremely bad performance with the Garvil T-Series(The Semi) of about 15fps but I'm not sure why. With any other vehicle I easily get over 60 fps. Does anyone have any ideas?

My Specs:Intel i5 4670k(Not overclocked) with a stock fan, Asus GTX 760(Not overclocked), 8GB of ram 1600mhz, and a Corsair CX600 power supply.

As per usual with these kind of post I would love to know if you guys have had problems like this with this and other vehicles too.

it's quite heavy vehicle to simulate, lot's of beams and stuff. Try to take mudflaps, hood and fuel tanks of see if it helps :)
Edit. Also moonhawk is complex car to simulate, they have just so much to process so thats why.

while this is true, he has the locked version of the 4670K, which should handle at least 1 t75 with no problem

ok, then you really shouldn't be having this problem, have you checked to see if your cpu is overheating? if not then make sure your pc is set for high performance instead of power saver or balanced.

also, do you use the stock cooler, or some other one (if some other one, what model and brand? you might end up trying overclocking if your cooler is good enough)

    Specs in sig.

I get around 30fps on GridMap and PureGrid with the T-75 on high settings which to me is unplayable and gives me a headache. With any other vehicle, I get well over 100fps.

I do use the stock cooler I'm getting a new one soon though and my CPU does overheat every so often. That's probably it thanks so much for the feedback!:D

Yeah, intel stock coolers are horrible, your most likely overheating causing the cpu to throttle

I doubt he is overheating. One core maxed out on my 4670k (1.26v 4.3Ghz, all that jazz) drives the CPU package power to a mere 33w. Unless he spawns more the load shouldn't be that intense. Also, the 4690k does tend to run cooler and beamng doesn't use AVX.

Michael, would you mind monitoring temps with something like realtemp or speedfan? (Or one of the many other utilities for that.)
