Released Polish Roads 3.1- discussion | UPDATE IS OUT! 3.1

Remove the old map, install this one

 

BUT I HAVE IT

 

You wrote that you have an old version of Polish roads, but ok. Clear the cache and make sure you have THIS version

Step 1: Open BeamNG (this can be done by clicking on the launcher and clicking launch game)
Step 2: Open the repository menu (this can be done by moving the mouse pointer over the repository button and left clicking)
Step 3: Navigate to the mod manager menu (this can be done by moving the mouse pointer over the mod manager button and left clicking)
Step 4: Press the circular, red cross button to the bottom right corner of the polish roads map
Step 5: Press the open mod folder button (this is to the right of the mods you have installed) and keep this open for the next few steps
Step 6: Press on this link here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/polish-roads-v3-remaster-1-3.89413/
Step 7: Scroll to the bottom of the first post and click on the mega.nz link for the map download
Step 8: Download the map (Polish Roads REMASTER 1.3.zip)
Step 9: Open your downloads folder
Step 10: Move the Polish Roads REMASTER 1.3.zip from the downloads folder into the mods folder
Step 11: Close BeamNG (this can be done by pressing back and then quit game)
Step 12: Open the BeamNG Launcher
Step 12: Press the Support Tools button
Step 13: Press the Clear cache button
Step 14: Press the Deep cache cleaning button
Step 15: Wait until the process is done and then launch BeamNG
If you are unable to do this please consider getting a parental figure to do this for you.
After these 15 steps you should have a fixed version of Polish Roads.

better than watching someone struggle to drag a file into a folder for the next week

 

1. Delete old map
2. Clear cache
3. Install new map

Why is the mod 3.5 GB even tho its zipped? That's like 3x the average.

 

I know about it, in the next update the size will be reduced

 

Are we by any chance gonna have a diffrent download link than mega? I don't want my download to get interrupted for 4 hours cause I apparently don't have data left

Also in the next update you should remove the vehicles folder from the zip, as it contains outdated skins which don't have PBR. Might also help reduce that file size
