I wonder if they will ever fix cars feeling like bouncy jelly, or them getting glued together after crashing

Does the roof of the car visibly caving in with every bump not bother you in the slightest? Or the bed of the truck violently shaking after taking a crash?
Cars literally do bounce around like jelly, that's the glaring issue with current soft-body physics implementation.

Edit: also, don't mean to be a prick, but jellyness and stickiness of cars dates way back to Rigs of Rods, and remains largely unchanged...

What car are you using ? What kind of bump ? I don't see the roof of the rally vivace caving in after a jump

Please use the latest game version. What you're describing is 2013 type stuff. It's pretty much flawless nowadays.

Take any car with stiffer suspension on a bumpy track, and you will see the lack of rigidness of the roof, hood, fenders, etc.. Cars simply don't feel very rigid enough. I know that irl some car components do exhibit natural flex, but the physics of that are way too exaggerated in game

Sounds like you used Automation cars lol, or some jank mods, vanilla cars don't have these issues

Johnson Valley does indeed have a problem with cars getting stuck in stuff, and yeah they can get stuck in each other on high speed impact. It has not been addressed simply because it's hard to fix. But you just completely changed the topic lol, your original point was that physics feel like jelly which is not true.

I simply have never seen car rooves cave in or things like that and i want pictures so that we can tell if it's your game that's corrupted, if the cars are indeed jelly-like, or if they're fine

If it feels unrealistic, it's because nobody would ever do something this extreme with a car.
Although yeah at high speeds things can get a bit shaky
